Let me start off by saying, don’t lie. It's just never worth it. An it will always fined a way of coming back to bite you in the ***.
Ok now that I gave some good advice and my soul feels nice an clean, ill giver even better advice. Always look directly into there eyes when lying. Liars tend to take up more room with there hand and arm gestures while lying, so don’t do that. Don’t scratch your head or fidget, those are dead give always.
The part of your brain that controls imagination is your right side. So Liars when thinking of a made up story tend to look to the right. So don’t do it.
Physical expression can also be limited and stiff, with few arm and hand movements. Hand, arm and leg movement are toward their own body the liar takes up less space as I said before. So again don’t do it.
Hands touching their face, throat an mouth. Touching or scratching the nose or behind their ear. Not likely to touch his chest/heart with an open hand are also signs, so don’t do that.
Timing is off between emotions gestures/expressions and words. Example: Someone says "I love it!" when receiving a gift, and then smile after making that statement, rather then at the same time the statement is made. So watch that one when doing your evil deed.
A guilty person gets defensive. An innocent person will often go on the offensive. So watch what you say as reaction when confronted.
A liar is uncomfortable facing his questioner/accuser and may turn his head or body away. This goes with the keep eye contact part I already talked about.
A liar might unconsciously place objects (book, coffee cup or what ever) between themselves and the person they are lying.
A liar will use your words to make answer a question. When asked, “Did you eat the last cookie?” The liar answers, “No, I did not eat the last cookie.”
Liars sometimes avoid "lying" by not making direct statements. They imply answers instead of denying something directly.
The guilty person may speak more than natural, adding unnecessary details to convince you... they are not comfortable with silence or pauses in the conversation.
A liar may leave out pronouns and speak in a monotonous tone. When a truthful statement is made the pronoun is emphasized as much or more than the rest of the words in a statement.
Words may be garbled and spoken softly, and syntax and grammar may be off. In other words, his sentences will likely be muddled rather than emphasized.
If you believe someone is lying, then change subject of a conversation quickly, a liar follows along willingly and becomes more relaxed. The guilty wants the subject changed; an innocent person may be confused by the sudden change in topics and will want to back to the previous subject.
Using humor or sarcasm to avoid a subject is also not such a good idea. Liars tend to do that a lot too.
So those are the big things to avoid. Most people may not realize that’s what to look for when confronting some one, but subcontously, those little things are noticed.

With some people, their eyes will move upward and to the right (or to the left) when they are accessing the creative part of they brain. This usually mean they are making up a story. This is why they say, the eyes never lie.

Does that mean you always lie, well I guess if thats the case I would sort of shift my eyes around looking side to side or down but then they would figure you were lying so I guess just look them straight in the eye.

The eyes are the windows of the soul. However, everyone looking into the windows can not all ways see the truth of you, especially if they have lies in them.

practice... this is what they call a poker face, some people can never do it... others can even be good enough at it to make people think they are lying when they aren't...
