that those who do live for Christ, washed clean by the blood of the lamb--who have repented and confessed their sins to God, are saved and those who also prayed the prayer but did not bear fruit, they were never saved to begin with?
God promises us His Holy Spirit when we are saved.....so if we do fall into sin, we are convicted, we desire to please God!
See Ephesians 1 and 2 Corinthians 1:21-22
Also see the parable of the sower in Luke---it speaks of false conversion.

first of all what you wrote is a question- and yes I do know that we are saved through the blood of the lamb, and when saved He will mold us into what He wants us to be. We must bear fruit. For Mesquite.. and all those others that do not like people who "quote the Bible" then why do you? Interesting isn't it?

This is a very personal thing. Whether you bear fruit or not is for God to judge.

Also, a person may not at first find fertile soil in which to grow in Christ right away and may have a lot of the world's influence to shake off from their life before that start to bear fruit that anyone can see. For them just being transformed and to grow at all to be more Christlike is fruit. This is not for us to judge. But the persons heart can judge itself or God can judge.

Did you know that your quoting of scripture instead of asking a REAL question is getting annoying?

and if you're attempting to convert anyone, you're more likely to convert a believer into non-belief with your pathetic rambling?

Matthew 6:5-8 = "When you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, who love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on street corners so that others may see them. Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward.
6
But when you pray, go to your inner room, close the door, and pray to your Father in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will repay you.
7
In praying, do not babble like the pagans, who think that they will be heard because of their many words.
8
Do not be like them. Your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

for AdoreHim: just because she uses the phrase 'did you know' does not make it a question. What she is doing is praying like the hypocrites on the street corner...calling attention to herself.

Yes, the change takes place from the inside--our old desires are replaced with the desire to do His will. Bearing fruit is proof of the change.

Did you know?

* Your god does not exist
* Biblical quotes mean nothing to non-christians
* The only thing you're doing is showing us how unreasonable and intolerant christians are.

Yes, I know what you stated, but why is it so important to you that you can point out those whom you think are not followers? You sound like you are talking from 'Gods' spot! WTFU

You must be bulimic, the way you regurgitate so well. I bet you don't really understand half of what you just said.
