Right should killing me for 2 days. Went to Urgent Care tonight. Got a shot of anti-inflammatory & 'script for Vicodin, which I took 2. No difference whatsoever. Can barely lift my arm. Pain is really bad. I used pain rub creme, & took a muscle relaxer, too. No pain relief.
Anybody have a similar experience, or can offer some support?

Sound like you need a chiropractor or an orthopaedic doctor. Hope you get to feeling better!

Brother it sounds like you tore your rotator cuff, I have done it three times. You must support and immobilize your arm, try not to take the Vicodin it is highly addictive. Go see your Doctor first thing in the morning. I really do not anything that will take the pain away as far as medications go, you and I both know that God can. Let me pray for you.
God I lift Sawyer up to you, you see his shoulder and you know exactly what is wrong. God I ask that you would touch him right now and put everything back where it is supposed to be. God you are Jehovah Raffa now heal this now. I stand on your word and claim this healing in Jesus name. AMEN.

Now begin to thank God for your healing even if you cannot feel it yet. God is healing it right now.

Email me in the morning and fill me in.

well i know that if you are in that much pain your vicodin really isnt going to help there are different strengths for different drugs since you are in sooo much pain what i think you should do is go back to the urgent care or go to your neerest hospital and tell them straight up that you are in excrutiating pain and you got a scrip for vicodin and that is not helping you and ask them that you have herd of a stronger type of meds and tell them about percocet...it is a stronger type and it dosnt upset your stomach as much if you do this im pretty sure you will be happy...good luck

I have to go with torn rotator had to have mine operated on just over years ago and your symptoms sound identical to the one I experienced.

My MD stated me on Coding 10mg and had to move me up to Percocet 5mg 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours. Movement of my are shoulder and arm were practically nil the week prior to my surgery. Go see our primary MD, set an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon and get it fixed. And it goes without saying...get and stay on your pain medication.

Yeah
Did the same thing swimming, torn rotor cuff. Hurts terrible. I will pray for you. Okay.
Lord Jesus you see the suffering of your child, I ask you to reach your mighty hand down and touch his shoulder. Ease his pain and let him know that he has been touched by the great physician. I pray he will wittiness and testify to your healing power. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

My best advice would be go to the store and buy a sling and keep your arm in it for a while. Moving it around is probably only making it worse. Please be careful with the medicine.. that stuff is known to be addictive. If you dont need it dont use it. Just try to take it easy and take care of yourself. You are in my thoughts and my prayers!
