There is a drain. Crawl under the car and find the rubber hose. It's probably stopped up.

If this is a grand cherokee, the condensate drain tube is located in the frame rail on the passenger side and not visible. You'd have to drill a hole in the hvac housing from the inside at the drain tube and blow it out with compressed air then reseal the hole with rtv or plastic weld it back closed. Your wiper cowl drain could be plugged up with leaves and debris and the water is spilling into your fresh air intake of the hvac housing as well.

Nine out of ten times water on the pass. side floor is from the heater core. It is inside the plastic housing that is mounted under the dash above the passengers knees. It has two hoses connected to it from the radiator and will have some screws to hold it in place.

1) rain water leak
2) condensation from AC / defroster (*)
3) coolant leak

(*) You can drive a car with your defroster on - then stop and shut off the engine -- Your car will have excess water which will condense and leak out of the heater onto your floor pan. Problem can be dirt such as leaves in the heat exchange

i own a shop and yes there is a small drain pipe that comes off the bottom of the heater box,and if these get knocked loose or off they will drain off in the in side of the vehicle ,that could be what has happened to yours ,and it still could be a heater core,it can dump some out and you want notice it that much, but check the drain and see if its clogged or has come off, good luck with it hope this helps.
