Why would there be?
Just because a fact about someone exists, doesn't mean they have to discuss it everytime their mouth is open.
In fact, Jesus carried on many discussions and teachings--both short and long, throughout his life. And while he spoke of his pending sacrificial death and resurrection, it didn't find its way into every 'major' spoken word. Although this information did filter through many such talks/teachings.
You only need to have information once on a subject, in order to make a decision on whether to act on it. Telling and teaching people is one thing; battering them over the head with it is another, completely.
What God wanted said was said when he wanted it said. John 3:16 is in that location because that is when it came up in the conversation.
When Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount, and the Lord's Prayer, he was discussing completley different subjects. Salvation issues were not relevant to either of these, and neither were they mentioned. Jesus made the point he wanted to make.
When the time for bringing up/discussing his death, burial, and resurrection, he did so.
But those two messages had nothing to do with the third subject. The issue of salvation was settled nonetheless.
Hope I helped!

The Sermon on the Mount and the Lord's Prayer are not "summaries" of Jesus' teachings, the SOTM is a lengthy discourse (Matthew chapters 5-7) on many different topics about the kingdom of God. The Lord's Prayer is one of the topics Jesus teaches on there.
The Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John themselves are the summaries of Jesus' teachings. All four Gospel writers give the account of His death and resurrection.
If you read the rest of the accounts, you will see that Jesus DID teach about His death and resurrection. (Matthew 20, Mark 9, Luke 18, John 2,3)

sure, we are honestly born ...FROM above, and born to develop into element of Christ's physique. it rather is, then, His resurrected physique, so then we do ought to have self assurance what befell, that it did take place, develop into authentic, and that we would be a factor of this. Baptism is an unbelievable observe by fact in the unique which means, it means to 'dye' to 'dye textile' from one shade to a distinctive. So baptism adjustments us spiritually, is the 'entryway' into receiving that new spirit. with out it we at the instant are not born returned, no longer replaced. Baptism is lots greater effective than an act, or act of obedience. it truly is a non secular exchange that takes place. it ought to of course have already befell and then we get baptized and it will become actualized. God is extremely massive and do issues as He needs, yet baptism places the stamp of 'approval?' because it have been on our salvation.

Well, that might have something to do with the fact that you can "believe" in His death and resurrection and still not have salvation. Even the demons believe and tremble, but they're certainly not saved. You first need to repent of your sins and ask for forgiveness, then invite Christ to be your Lord and Savior.
It's along the lines of someone telling you that they just deposited a million dollars in your account. You can "believe" you have the money, but unless you actually draw on the funds, they do you no good.
Same thing with "believing" that Jesus died and rose again from the dead. Unless you act on it by repentence and accepting His atoning death, just believing isn't going to do you any good.

Regarding eternal salvation a person will attain it only under two conditions.
1. The individual must be in good faith regarding his or her own religion.
2. The individual must live according to the teaching of his or her religion.
Baptism is necessary for salvation but it is precisely in the fulfillment of these two conditions that a person can receive the effects of baptism. This is called an implicit 'baptism of desire'.
Cheers :-)

Repent. For the Kingdom of Heaven is here.
Repentance is the key to salvation. Repent means to turn from your sins. Because we are all sinners we need to turn away from those things we think/say/do against a Holy Righteous God. Look at the 10 Commandments and realize how often you break all of these commandments all the time. You need to turn away from these sins being dead to yourself and alive to Christ.
"Then said Jesus to his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whomsoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Jesus did a lot of teaching, just because it is not in these two teachings doesn't mean it is not in many other places in the Bible. Read the gospel of John.

salvation can only be attained by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Note, Lord signifies ownership... so you can't go around sinning when owned by a sinless Lord
