First, why would I take the Bible as the proof, when there are countless other holy texts which profess "God's word".
Second, those scriptures do not offer proof that Jesus was/is God.

John 9:58
"i tell you the truth," Jesus Answers "Before Abraham was born, I am!"
>>> This only demonstrates that Jesus taught polytheism (read also about Melchizedek, he is also “without genealogy and without beginning of days”).
John 1:1-2
In the Beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God. He was with God in the Beginning.
>>> This is about the logos, not Jesus, and Jesus’ name is not mentioned. Earliest Christians believed that the logos inspired people (like Jesus). The idea that Jesus is god came hundreds of years later.
Ephesians 3:18
For through him we both have access to the Father by one spirit.
>>> Mediator, nothing more.
Revelations 1:17-18
>>> Polytheism. Logos was viewed by the early Christians as a god, an emanation of the father, one of many. You will also notice that Revelation mentions “seven spirits of god”, meaning polytheism.
John 10:38
>> This doesn’t make Jesus god, it only says god’s spirit was in Jesus.
Colossians 2
>> It is only saying that Jesus was inspired by the spirit, nothing more.
Would you like me to post a hundred verses which say Jesus wasn’t god?

My husband and I believed in the trinity up until Dec 2006, not too long ago. We were praying for God to plug us in a Divine church for 4 months and then He did. Our pastor knows the ancient Greek quite well for Greek is his native language. We are still studying alot of the scriptures that had led us to believe that Jesus was God.
I was always confused about Jesus sitting at the right hand of God. Unless the Lord reveals this to people, one cannot see it bc we've been taught throughout the years that the three are one.
Jesus prayed and spoke to God his Father.
Two distinct beings communicated with each other.…he [Jesus] went a little further, and fell on his face,
and prayed, saying, O my Father…Matthew 26:39
The Bible teaches that God the Father and Jesus
are distinct, individual persons:
So then after the Lord [Jesus] had spoken unto them,
he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right
hand of God. Mark 16:19
How can Jesus be sitting NEXT TO God, at his right
hand, if he IS God? How can someone sit next to himself? I always thought about this...
Jesus said: My Father is greater than I. John 14:28
Paul began each of his letters with a salutation to God the
Father, and to Jesus Christ. No mention of the Holy Spirit.
Not once. What kind of Trinity is this where the third person
is consistently omitted? Did Paul not know about a Trinity?
There's many scriptures that need to be studied in Greek(NT).
Please don't get me wrong. I do not condemn the trinitarians, since I was one too until the truth was revealed. We should be praying always to seek His truth and need to do intensive study on this. Read when the trinity started?...The trinity was believed around 315 A.D.
I can answer to you about all the scriptures you have listed but I will take up alot of space here. If you are interested to study on this, I can send you a break down study (really detailed) which is about 80 or so pages. Email me if interested. Praise the Lord.
I am a Christian and believe In Jesus my Lord....My Savior.
The invisible God dwells in the Son. Jesus Christ had the fullness of God in him.

I really don't believe in looking for answers in some magic book, but honestly, let's analyze this...
John 9:58
"i tell you the truth," Jesus Answers "Before Abraham was born, I am!"
-One might thing tense is important here, especially when he might be refering to a God called "I am"?... He didn't say "I was", so it seems more likely that he is is saying that God (Yaweh/"I Am") existed before Abraham in a way that is still in the present, in other words that God is outside of time and space and is as a fact of the universe, he does not seem to be speaking of his own nature.
John 1:1-2
In the Beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God. He was with God in the Beginning.
-This, "he" couldn't possibly refer to personification of "the word" which is refered to serveral times right there?... Pronouns really aren't as limited as one might believe...
Ephesians 3:18
For through him we both have access to the Father by one spirit.
-He gives access through a third party "one spirit", that actually implies separate entities rather than a singular entity.
Revelations 1:17-18
-Interestingly enough, the book of Revelations wasn't considered canon by most christians up to the council of Nicea, and Martin Luther didn't consider it to be canon...
John 10:38
But if I do it, even though you do not believe me, believe the miracles, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father."
-Can easily be metaphor to say he represents God, not literally is God, Moses could've said something similar.
Collissians 2:9
I am absent from you in body, I am present with you in spirit, rejoicing to see
-Has nothing to do with being God....

the Bible says that there are "many gods"; 1 Corinthians 8:5, 6
that satan is god; 2 Corinthians 4:4
that the one true God called some humans "gods"; Psalm 82:6; John 10:34-36
Jesus said that there was only *ONE* true God and that "only true God" sent Jesus; John 17:3
so, I would not sit there and try and call Jesus a liar!
I believe Jesus when he says that there is only one "true God" and that God is the one he worships. John 20:17; 1 Corinthians 11:3; 1 Corinthians 15:24-28
You wont get me to call Jesus a liar
but I do admit that the Bible calls many other beings "god", so perhaps the word "god" isn't as special as you want it to be???

Why do you think that just because something is in print that it has to be followed blindly ? There are many "holy" books, many in direct dispute with others.
Of course, each one is the only true one to the believers of that religion. Are Christians smarter than Buddhists ? Are Shintoists smarter than Hindus ? Are Jews smarter than Zoroastrians ? The Muslims KNOW that they have all the answers.
Being in print is not proof of anything.
In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God. he was with God in the beginning.
Just think about that. Double-talk if I ever heard any. It has no real meaning. If God was nothing but a spoken word, he doesn't amount to very much.

Have you ever been to the middle east ?? I have spent two years there in 7 countries. It is a backwards superstitious place with very ancient beliefs. The people there today are the descendants of the people who were around when Jesus was there .Not much has changed!! They are very ignorant to sciences and modern thought. The whole foundation of religion is solely based on not understanding the sciences .Astrology , Meteorology and Plate tectonics especially. When people are afraid or confused or society is out of control and needs to be straightened out ,fear is a huge motivator. Blaming everything bad on someone because they were doing something wrong in Gods eyes or blaming your shortcomings on a higher power is a good way to ease the mind .
Today you can take a fun course in college on Greek Mythology. Back then that was what they believed because it answered there questions on how the world worked. Today it is ridiculous because of our understanding of the sciences. Not so far in the future what we believe today will sound ridiculous because of further education of society. It sounds all warm and fuzzy to believe in a God , but its just us down here

First you need to have self belief that God is the single and only God and that He created heavens and earth. merely the seen this, the flexibility and would of God what he's in a position to do is suggestions boggling. the comparable for His divine purpose for His introduction inclusive human beings His little ones. sure, we are His little ones and He needs us to stay in His homestead. His house is organic and clean. No soreness, sorrow, no lifeless, it rather is organic. we are in a position to only into our Fathers homestead if we are organic. it is why Jesus got here. He become and is with out sin. He become the only individual who ought to enter His Fathers homestead. yet Jesus gave His life on the pass, created a pathway for us to become organic, and now are waiting to pass into into heaven. How God created the seed He placed in Mary's womb? If God is in a position to create the universe, earth and all this....then He had a manner for this to maintain it organic.

I read a book recently by Terry Pratchett about a planet that is as flat as a quarter. It rests on the backs of four huge elephants which are standing on the shell of an unimaginably huge turtle called "The Great Atuin". He flies through space and the world's sun is a tiny star that orbits around the turtle, and elephants and disc. At one point in it's orbit, one of the elephants has to lift his leg to allow it to pass.
This book is widely acknowledged to be a work of fiction, just like your bible.
Your bible is just another book. Paper, with words printed on it. Some of them have fancy, leather covers and gold paint on the edges of the pages to make them look authoritative. Your bible attempts to explain the entire universe. It manages to do so by ignoring observable reality at every turn.
I don't live my life by venerating Mr. Pratchett's "Discworld" books. They're an entertaining read, but they don't describe the real world. Neither does your bible, and all in all, it's less entertaining then "The Color of Magic".
JEDIKNIGHT: Holy Cripes, man! If you have to quote the Koran, have the common decency to PROVIDE A LINK rather then pasting half of the bleepin' book in here! It took me 45 seconds just to scroll down to the thumbs down button!
