What do you mean by "Biblical Church"? According to the Bible, Christ founded one Church and entrusted Peter with her earthly care. In that way, there was and is only one "Biblical Church", the Catholic Church. There are other churches, other organized religious bodies of Christians, of course, that came into existence before the 1600s.

The Catholic Church has NEVER been Biblical. From where did you get this stupid idea, man. The only thing that damn church was, was an organization of cold blooded murderers. The Bible calls her a prostitute in the book of Daniel and Revelation. The Bible says she was drunk from the blood of the saints (God's slain people). God has always had His messengers in every era and the Catholic Church was NOT His church in the 1600's. It won't be long before she will try to go back to her own ways in trying to force everybody to worship on Sunday or else...

Haha, yea basically, cause it was people like Martin Luther that branched out from the catholic church and views and made his own denomination. Until him and some others there was probably just Catholic. Lutheran. Lutheran, Methodist, Baptist, Episcopalian, etc. are all pretty much under the big enomination PROTESTant. Recognize how i capitalized the word protest lol. Cause thats basically what it is, what i would think of it would be a "protest" against the views of Catholicism.

It never has, and probably never will be a Biblical Church.
311AD when Rome shoved a cross on top of a Pagan heap with no repentance and said "ta-da! we're Christians now" does not qualify as Biblical to me.

In my humble opinion, the Catholic Church was never a blibical church in the 1st place since they took it upon themselves to adjust the scriptures so they match better the interests of this institution. This adjusment operation began probably as soon as the Gospels were out since as soon to be clergy noticed that there were money easy to make on the behalf of the naivity of the believer. And they cultivated this naivity thoroughly, so now we have a planet (or something close) of believers who act upon this indulging the clergy with 10% of their income (so the devil doesn't roast their sinfull asses in the eternal fire of hell)... life is good for some of our shepards... : )

1054 i guess it`s the year when the christian church separated into the catholic and orthodox church, the same year of the Roman Empire separation into Western and Eastern roman Empire.

The Catholic Church has never been a biblical church. Much of what they teach runs against the Bible and exalts people that God never intended to be exalted.
Infant baptism doesn't make a baby a member of God's family any more than walking into a garage makes you a car.
Transsubstantiation is not reality because it is spiritual cannibalism - when it is supposed to be symbolic of the body and blood of Christ who died for us. Christ told us to do that in REMEMBRANCE of Him as a symbol to remind us of His great sacrifice for us.
All the Hail Marys and Our Fathers a person could ever offer will not get people time off purgatory because there is no purgatory in holy writ except in the Catholic Bible which is a translation unto itself. Further, if there were one single thing any human could do to earn God's favor and secure entrance into Heaven Christ's sacrifice on Calvary was in vain.
The pope is not infallible but is a sinner just like everyone else
and capable of making mistakes just like any other person on
earth.
There is no power in holy water.
Mary was not sinless, but a sinner just like all of us. She lived a holy life and was probably more pure than many women of her time, but she was never called sinless in scripture. Further, Mary is not equal to or greater than Christ because Christ is God incarnate, and Mary is only a sinful human. The only sinless person who ever lived was Jesus Christ! If Mary was sinless she could have died for us as well since God's demand was a perfect sacrifice. Mary did not die for us, and she has no power to answer prayer.
Peter, Paul, and the other saints that people pray to cannot answer prayer. Only prayer offered to the Father in the name of Jesus Christ is acceptable to God and there is no need of any man to intervene between us and God. That includes a priest or preacher. When Christ died, the vail of the temple was rent (torn) from top to bottom making the way once and for all time for every man to enter the presence of God without
a priest!
The only confession we are to make is to God Himself. The only exception is if we have offended someone or they have offended us and we are harboring bad feelings toward them.
Then we are to go to them and confess our wrong and ask them to forgive us for holding something against them. Even then we are to ask God to forgive us for our unforgiving spirit.
For more information look up Martin Luther's 95 Thesis that he nailed to a door in Whitenburg, Germany refuting Catholic doctrine. He learned what every true believer has learned; to whit that "THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH, AND THAT SALVATION IS BY FAITH ALONE."
One last note is this: The church universal is not the Catholic church -The true church is called in scripture "the body of Christ" and is composed of everyone who has been washed in the blood of Jesus Christ for forgiveness of sins and has been given the gift of eternal life. They are in churches of all kinds across the world and know God intimately. He alone is their source of knowledge and strength and they acknowledge no other church or person as sovereign!
