The reason people are up in arms about a situation like this is because any idiot can put two dogs together and make puppies. But did you bother to think about the hundreds of thousands of dogs that are already living in dog shelters? Why not give a home to some of those poor babies instead of making more.
Backyard breeders also put very little thought or planning into the health of the dogs they are breeding. What do you know about their genetic background? Can you be certain that putting these dogs together will not result in serious health issues?
What about homes? How do you plan on screening where your puppies are going? Are you prepared to take these dogs back into your home if their owners can't keep them? Or will they end up in a shelter, and you'll have contributed to an already out of control situation with the pet population.....
I could go on and on. There are people out there that really truly love dogs, and know that randomly breeding any two dogs is really the wrong thing to do.
That's why you're getting an attitude, and if you didn't understand why breeding your mutt and rottweiler was the wrong thing to do, you are ignorant.

Why don't you think about the way you phrased your question?
I looked into your questions and discovered that you have the instant attitude.
When you ask a question here you invite others to offer their opinions, thoughts and advice. If you don't like what they say ignore them. It's obvious that you'll do as you please anyway no matter what others say so why get upset and take it out on everyone?
Who are you to be insulting to others because they did'nt tell you what you wanted to hear?
And as for some of your questions-
Your dogs are your property. You control every aspect of their lives. But when you decide to breed you are playing GOD.
Pups you saw brought into this world are YOUR responsibility. They did'nt ask to be born - YOU MADE IT HAPPEN.And you have no right to ooh and ahh over those precious little lives for a few weeks and toss them into the world and forget them.
Those sweet innocent little puppies grow up to be ugly mutts no one wants and they end up being abused horribly, neglected and dumped at the nearest shelter to wait for someone to notice them. You have no right to add to a huge problem because you want puppies!
You bring them into the world they are your responsibility for life not just till they are 8-12 weeks old.
In one of your questions you state something about people not having babies because there are to many in foster homes.
How do you think those little kids feel at 2 and they are ripped from their mothers and placed in strange surroundings?Same with puppies but no one thinks of their feelings do they?

I spend a lot of time in this category, and I do agree that a lot of people throw out rude answers at the drop of a hat. I will say that a lot of the posters here are very ignorant about dogs and animals in general, but a lot of the answerers are just as ignorant, and usually much more rude. Over-population is a problem, that's for sure, so generally, people discourage breeding... but I support it in many cases, and if you've got a question, I would MUCH rather have you ask than never know the right answer and risk the health of animals. Keep asking, and ignore the ignorant people here. It sucks, but you'll meet these types of people your entire life.

If you are asking questions about breeding mutts, you have to expect negative feedback, alot of people here are involved in rescue, purebreds are easier to rescue and save, but you see all the mixes out there and you simply have no room for them in rescue and you know most will die especially the large breeds. Then there are the 1000's of pounds that refuse to even work with rescues, about 75% of the litter you breed will end up in a pound somewhere if lucky one will find a home and the rest will be killed or sold to a research lab unless you create a strict purchase contract to take full responsiblity of any pup you place insisting the person returns it back to you if they decide in the future they do not want it and it has to be backed with threats of court action for failure to do so, and that means microchipping all the puppies in your name inorder to be contact should pup you sell end up in a pound so that you will know and be able to take action against the purchaser. And you sell all pups under non breeding contracts with proof of spay /neutering require by a certain age again with legal stipulations.
These are the kinds of things very responsible breeders do to ensure they are not contributing to the pet overpopulation problem currently 8 million are euthanized yearly in north America,
So before you go ahead a breed put together a plan to prevent adding to the problem by take life long responsibility for any pup you create through a rock solid contract and microchipping and take back any that are no longer wanted and less people would have problems with your decision, I as a taxpayer don't want to keep paying to support and euthanize the puppies you bring into the world and many others like you due to irresponsible breeding, operating costs for pounds are paid for the city/county taxes, my taxes would be a lot lower if I did not have to help pay for food, spaying and neutering, vaccines and euthansia of animals in my local pound. that come from breeders like yourself. So everyone that pays taxes does have a stake in what you are doing so therefore a right to say something because in the end we get stuck paying for your lack of responsibility, I have my own dogs to pay for, I don't like getting stuck paying for the puppies you and others created and being forced to pay to have them destroyed. So it is no just about you it involves me too.

What drove me most likely loopy over something else (even her dodging questions), is that it used to be all approximately her, or McCain. How routinely did you pay attention her talk of "the yank humans"? Once, I counted, IF that counts in any respect. Biden always seemed into the digicam, speakme instantly to us, approximately us, and what they may be able to/will do for US. I hated how almost at any time when Palin spoke it used to be "I, me, we (that means her & McCain), extra I, extra me". Same strains over and over. I attempted rough to provide her the improvement of the doubt final night time, hoping that she could say anything smart, however that did not occur. I understand not more approximately her or what she stands for than I knew a month in the past whilst she used to be announced.

What do you expect, you come asking a bunch of dog lovers about breeding a mixed litter, you are going to hear what people have to say. If you don't want to hear the truth, then it's not exactly the place to be asking questions.
People who love dogs feel very strongly about how they are treated and the things that people do with them. When you aren't doing the right thing, You are definitely going to hear about it.
Rather than think of it as criticism, think of it as Education.. Be Teachable!

Its because you are indeed, ignorant.
Ignorant means that you don't know something
Stupid means that you don't know something, and assume that you are right.
People are saying you are ignorant because, you shouldn't be breeding a litter, nonetheless with two different breeds. There are millions of dogs dying in the pound because, (don't take this the wrong way) people like you want to breed two dogs together, and you sell them, and they end up in the pound.

With regards to the breeding question, people on here are quick to put down someone who says they are wanting to breed their dogs, because they say we are backyard breeders, are not helping the quality of the breed, and because there are millions of dogs in pounds that need homes and "backyard breeders" are just adding to that problem. But investigate a little, and you will find that about 75% of those people are breeders themselves. It is perfectly fine for them to do it though. I guess the same things they say about us, don't apply to them, since they consider themselves so much more knowledgeable than us.
I have discoved that many of the people on this section, are in fact very smart when it comes to dogs. However, their way of giving "advice" is very hateful. They are so intelligent in regards to dogs, that they think the rest of us should be as smart, and when we aren't they choose to call us nasty names and put us down, instead of just simply educating us. I am a dental assistant and consider myself very smart in regards to dentistry. I see questions and remarks everyday on here, that I stop and think "Oh my gosh. What a moron!" But I don't say that to them, because I realize that many perople are not as educated about dental problems as I am, and by insulting them, I am just trying to brag and show off about my knowledge.
If I ask a question about dogs on here, and a person is rude, self ritous and just plain arrogent, I simply ignore their advice or opinion, even if they are right. It all has to do with the delivery of the advice. The so called experts on here need to work on their people skills. They may be great with dogs, but they are horrible when it comes to "helping" people.

never mind my old post...
people shouldn't breed dogs think of all the animals euthanised each year because of the breeders who can't give them to a good home.
most of the animals are dog 1-2 million dogs are euthanised each year!
but also don't think of that as critisism think of it a learning.
i do not believe i am smarter than anybody else but i feel that if people dont listen then the only way to be educating them is beeing rude because thats wat ppl tend to most notice
