Tell her when she's in a happy mood. Tell her sooner rather than later cause she'll be more upset if you wait. Just tell her and do it soon.

Honestly sit down with her and say..... "Mom, I have a boyfriend and he is really nice. I am really happy being with him. I know you told me not to date but if anything goes wrong I will come to you ASAP! I swear. Please let me go out with him" After that let your mom think about it.
If your mom says yes but you have to follow rules then follow the rules don't break them and do as you promised. Most likely you will be able to date him and not hide from your family.
Also when you are around him if he doesn't know tell him your mom didn't know before but know she does.
I hope everything works out. :*)

I say if you are age 14+ you don't need to tell your parents. Just make wise decisions and make sure that a lot of your friends know that you're dating someone.
however, if you are younger, your mother has a right to be protective. She doesn't want you to make any mistakes. Just tell her that you really like this guy and you're wondering how she feels about you dating him. You actually might be surprised with the answer.

Well when she's in a good mood, you say mom I need to speak with you. Then you proceed with your arguement. I would start out byt saying, you know I love you and you know i'm getting older now and im asking for you to trust me and trust my decissions. Then you tell her about your bf situation. I hope it works. Goodluck!

Say, "Mom, why do you not let me date? I think I am old enough." And, she will answer, and then you tell her.
