It takes a lot of discipline, but doing it at home works for me.
I think that doing it on your own will help keep you on track, because you learn how to do things for yourself and don't rely on a program you can quit and go back to your own ways.
Try substituting all your snacks for healthier ones for under 100 calories (pretzels, fat-free pudding cups, rice snacks) and only having two snacks a day.
Or, just drink water and have no soft drinks and fruit and vegetable juices in moderation. If you crave soda drink a flavored water.
Eat all three meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and make sure they are 400 or less calories. Eat plenty of unadulterated fruits and vegetables!
Substitute whole wheat bread for white- more nutritious and filling.
Stop eating after 8 P.M.
Brush your teeth when you feel a craving setting in....you are less likely to give in.
Just doing two or all of these will cut a lot of calories and help you out.
Don't forget to excercise for at LEAST 30 minutes. I love the Walk Away The Pounds Indoor Walk by Denise Austin....It's easy on joints and doesn't leave your sore, but you'll start to see some muscles.
I don't know how much weight I lost doing this (don't own a scale) But I trimmed and toned up a whole lot and my stomach was getting flat (I started eating fast food and gaining it back, but I got my self disciple back and am losing again)
Try it! It really works!

I observed the ebook to be very informative and effortless to learn. I've misplaced 17 kilos in 12 days, I'm simply worried that I'm wasting an excessive amount of weight, too rapidly. I will admit I have not adopted the advisor precisely. I'm no longer sticking flawlessly to the indexed meals and meal plans (however ordinarily) and doing little or no endeavor, however the weight continues flying off. It evidently works and if I'd adopted it precisely I suppose it might scare the dwelling daylights out of me considering the fact that of the quantity that I'd lose. So thank you once more for the understanding. I've certainly not bought some thing like this earlier than considering the fact that they're commonly filled with trash, however 3WD has been a high-quality shock. Get began at present!

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats and it will tell you how many calories a day you need to maintain your weight. take 300-400calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
eat 5-6 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones.
5-8 servings of fruit and vegetables a day.
8 glasses of water a day.
4-6 times a week cardio work out for 30-50min plus light weight training.
no junk food, no sodas, no white flour (white bread, pasta, cookies, cakes etc)

Losing weight is a simple equation: if you burn more calories than you eat, the weight will come off. Start off by estimating how many calories you burn each day using the calorie calculator http://straighthealth.com/pages/tools/caloriecalclb.html This will give you an idea of how many calories to eat. Healthy weight loss is 1-2 pounds per week. To lose 1 pound per week you need to create a calorie deficit (burn more than you eat) of 500 calories per day. To lose 2 pounds a week, you have to double the deficit to 1000 calories per day. You can achieve this by eating less, exercising more or a combination of both.

a few things: if ur heavier it is harder on joints like the knees when u run, and crunches and push ups do NOT burn many calories. try swimming. if u can join a team and practice 4-6 times a week. it burns cals and builds muscle. food: whole grains, vegetables, fruits, protein (white meat has less cholesterol than red), some fats (from fish, oils, nuts etc), and lots of water
u might feel bloated b/c u r not used 2 ur diet and/or workout
if u keep swimming after u get the body u want u can eat basically w/e u want! (i swim 5-6 days a week, hr and 1/2 a day and have to consume about 5000 calories a day [im 5'4"])

go on a detox diet.. it really sucks at first but it really pays off and you feel sooooo much better after its over.. plus you lose all of that excess weight... if you dont want to be that radical try quitting some things like all sodas or all candy or red meats... all that stuff makes you fat and in completely unnecessary
