You CANNOT treat this at home. 99% chance that he will die of dehydration if you try. It is a virus, there's no way to shorten the course of the illness. Just IV fluids, supportive care, medication to reduce vomiting and diarrhea-which will get a LOT worse before it gets better. It will be the most foul vile smell you ever lived with, a pungent combination of feces, bile, and the smell of rotten road kill. It will get so bad that you don't know what came out of which end. This is a nasty nasty illness, and even with treatment, it's often fatal. If you can't afford the vet care, then PLEASE have him euthanized. Puking yourself to death is a bad way to go.

And the other posters are right, this must be diagnosed by a vet, there is a simple fecal antigen test for this disease. If it is parvo, then pepto bismol and farm n fleet antibiotics won't do a damn thing.

No you can't be serious! There are no home remedies for Parvo! You must take your dog to the vet and do what the vet says. OR he will most certainly die. He needs hospitalization.

How do you know your dog has parvo? If a vet has told you this, they should have told you exactly what you should do. If a vet has not told you this, your dog is probably improperly diagnosed... You NEED to go to a vet as soon as possible. Parvo is INCREDIBLY dangerous, and seriously deadly. There are no "remedies" that you can provide, other than proper vet care.

Parvo is a virus. The only treatment is through your vet. There are no home treatments that I know of.

I am very sorry.

I thought that dogs were vaccinated to prevent parvo. I know that my dog had her shots for this.
