This occasionally happens.

Because many who support legalized abortion claim that they believe that it's no different than any other operation, I'm not worried about offending them.

The following is an excerpt from the experience of a former abortionist:

"I remember getting called down to my chairman's office because a young lady that I had done an abortion on showed up, and the abortion had been incomplete. I had not done my job right, and she passed an arm or a leg and she freaked out because she didn't realize what had happened." -Former Abortionist Dr. Anthony Levatino

Your question is basically a leading question-akin to asking someone if they've stopped beating their wife. Abortion is a medical procedure. Every medical procedure has its unique risks and side-effects. There is no such thing as 'an operation no different than any other operation.' They are all different.

I would personally never choose to get an abortion. But I do not have the power to make that choice for another woman-nor would I want to. That is her choice.

did not you as quickly as formerly submit this biased professional-existence crap? the only abortions the place fetal areas are contemporary are late term abortions, and those are purely accomplished for maternal well being for fetal death. additionally, one in all those ingredient would not ensue if an authorized well being care expert had accomplished the abortion, or wasn't negligant like that clown replaced into.

If it's not happening to you - why do you care? Abortion is between a woman and her doctor. I have known a couple of women who had abortions and I assure you - it wasn't a decision made lightly. Not at ALL. IMO - it's the woman who has an abortion that has to deal with her decision. Not you. It's her choice. Also - most abortions are done in the first trimester when the fetus is little more than a clump of cells or is so small what comes out may not look entirely human yet.

To tell you the truth - I don't agree with abortion any more than you do (except in extreme circumstances) and I'd likely never have one unless there was an extreme circumstance (i.e. mother's health at risk, rape, or severe defect of the fetus), but I still don't think it's any of my business to put my nose in someone else's business. Perhaps you (and those who want to legislate women's bodies) should consider doing likewise.

Also curious - how many unwanted kids have you adopted?

that doctor was incompetant. it happens unfortunately. however, your website is a full of anti-choice propaganda so that guy could be lying. anyways, when the MAJORITY of abortions occur, there are not legs or arms, but leg and arm BUDS. the fetus is the size of a kidney bean or smaller.

Abortion should not be a means of birth control.
I think an abortion should be allowed if a person is raped, or if the child is so badly deformed that it would not be able to sustain life on it's own.
Passing a body part? A tiny arm or leg. Makes me want to cry.

And sometimes a doctor leaves in a sponge or a scalpel or a pair of scissors. This is called malpractice and not specific alone to abortionists.

Btw, I'm adopted and not pro-abortion, I just don't think your example and question are relative to the problem.

Is this the only subject you ever think about?

Have you nothing else in your life that's of any interest to you?

I used to enjoy bashing you, now I just feel sorry that you haven't got anything else to be concerned about but how other women choose to have abortions, and how much you don' t like it. No one is asking you to do it, so why do you care so much? No one is coming into your house in the middle of the night and forcing you to abort. So why can't you just stop? Your stories are not going to change anyones mind. Please, get a hobby.

He didn't do his job right. He screwed up, and the patient experienced distress.

This happens all that time. Should we stop having medical procedures because things occassionally go wrong? I think not.

You mean is it okay to get rid of it so long as she doesn't have to see the individual parts pass? I don't get your question obviously.
