There's nothing wrong with being an athesit and don't let the religious fanatics tell you different. It's completely understandable too when you consider all that goes on "wrong" in this world. I personally don't fall for the silly excuses that "this or that is his will" and you're smart for not doing so yourself. Trust me, there is no hell. How do I know? Because we're living it here and now, so you go right on sticking to your belief because no one can say what happens hereafter since the Bible was drastically changed hundreds of years ago.
For those of you who doubt it, just google it and you'll see... a lot of Theologians have found that it was indeed messed with big time!

There is a third choice, other than Atheism or religious dogma. I am very much a Theist and a Christian, but my relationship is with God and not a religion.
Freedom and enlightenment. Who's jealous now?

Atheists aren't free of dogma. Marx and Lenin and Mao Tse Tung, etc. were very dogmatic about their beliefs. All dogma is not the doctrines of those who believe in God.

If you are atheist, that is your decision. I am a christian, and i am not jealous at all. i don't feel like i'm being brainwashed in religious dogma, i feel like i am saving my soul from eternal damnation. But i don't know anything, no one does, we won't no for sure until this life is over.

Many people believe that disbelieving in what they see as the greatest good (and source of other goods) is a terrible crime in and of itself.
Frankly, I think that thinking with your own mind, deciding on your own what's right and wrong, and exploring the world to discover its principles to live and create accordingly are not only better, but also the very definition of "human living." But I'm also not religious.

Well, it gives you no chance to get to heaven. I think that's foolish. Being free of God's Law isn't a good thing, if you don't know where the boundaries are, it's harder to know what's bad for you and what isn't. Obeying God keeps you from a number of problems.

Its not a bad thing...on earth. The people of this earth praise you for it and associate you with the free thinking high flying liberal secular humanist movement.

I like having a free mind! that's why I chose to befriend God and not become His footstool. I don't refuse His requests though, that'd be dissin' Him, which is a kink in any friendship.
Jesus is My Lord, and I'm lovin' that.

No... no one's jealous, but here's one thing that the Lord says about it:
Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight.
Isaiah 5:21
(Besides... if you're wrong, what's your back-up plan?)
