They can dish it our but can't take it....

I read every post and not one Christian person says anything hateful or rude to the unbeliever, pagan or atheist.

Jesus took alot more abuse and hate then any of us people who love him will ever take, but I find it ironic how people who like to call Christains Psychos, druggies or whackos can take much more abuse than the unbeliever, the left hating liberal the arrogant human being who would like to challenge GOD to a gun duel.

Jesus spoke of the humble and the meek but he is coming in the Clowds on A White Horse with more strength than you can imagine and can wipe a person out with the snap of his thumb but he does not want to do that he wants you to love him and bring him into your heart and you owe it to yourself to give him a chance. Peace Brothers and Sisters.

I am a christian and I agree. Whenever I hear any other religion making fun or or disrespecting my religion, i don't get mad. Instead i get very sad and wonder why they do make fun of us. We did nothing wrong to them and yet most atheists continue to make rude remarks to me and fellow christians.

I have a few things to point out about your “question”. Number one, It seems that you believe all Christians are just sweet innocent little people that never do anything bad…Sorry lady, but you really need a big dose of reality…Ever heard of Hitler? Number two, I highly doubt that you have read every single religious post that this forum contains; so your statement “I read every post and not one Christian person says anything hateful or rude to the unbeliever, pagan, or atheist” would be false. Another thing I would like to point out is…Do you know how many Christians tell atheists that we’re going to ‘burn in hell’ on this forum? In my book, telling me that I’m going to burn in hell (or anywhere else for that matter) is very rude, and hateful. By making this statement you seem to want to stir up trouble and arguments, so your whole “Peace Brothers and Sisters” would be an overstatement.

boy are you deluded... christians have been so insecure about what they were that they are the only way they have survived this long is through the act of murder.... early roman catholic church use to murder those refusing the bible as god's laws... by introducing the bible written in Latin it was meant to be a secret language so no one could challenge it.... the truth don't need to be hidden... the crusades .. the witch hunts... the murders of the north American natives... and any other culture who didn't concede to christian BS...
No culture in the past has survived the murderous christian take over. NOT BECAUSE THEY WERE RIGHT BUT BECAUSE THEY WERE MURDERERS. But the acceptance of wars and murders are changing ... Let's hope BUSH is the last one...

You are full of crap. You have read every post have you? I think not. This section is FULL of extremely rude and hateful christians. Go to the gay section and see how much they spread their love. There are a lot of kids here who post things from both perspectives just to troll, but don't tell me you have NEVER read a obnoxious remark by a christian.

BTW I have been here a LOT longer than you and have read many many more posts.

Wow, are you wrong. I don't know what posts you are reading
but to me you sound like a bitter little christian girl who can't accept the fact that Christians are not always right.
How do you expect non-Christians or atheists to give this Jesus guy, whom they don't even believe in, a chance? If you believe in that crap you just layed out, it's no wonder your getting a hard time.

We could argue all night who is most persecuted and who can dish it and who can take it - but when it comes right down to it everyone here takes abuse (not just Christians) and there are people in all groups who can dish it but who can't take it. That's an individual thing and has nothing to do with any specific religious group. I think it's your perception that makes you biased toward your own. That's okay - I'm admittedly biased toward my own brethren, too.

Some atheists are rude, but some from your side of the religious spectrum are no better. I think religious people are just very easily taking direct critics on their doctrine as an personal attack. It's more a problem of religious people than of the people not on your side.

This somehow reminds me of the line spoken by the lead character, Capt. Adams, in the 1956 Sci Fi classic, "Forbidden Planet". Regarding the inevitable conquests that will otherwise result, when the "monsters from the id" are given their free reign, he tells Morbius, "That's why we have laws and religion!"

Thus, people at their base will by their nature run amok. This will give the post-modern nature worshipers something to put in their figurative pipe and smoke.

"I read every post and not one Christian person says anything hateful or rude to the unbeliever, pagan or atheist."

You're a liar. Doesn't the fact that you have to tell so many silly lies like this to defend your beliefs tell you something about the quality of those beliefs? It should.

We are told by Christ to first of all love God and then to love people that is Christianity in its simplest form. True Christians follow these two Commandments given to us by Jesus. We as Christians need to treat others as we want to be treated and I will say that we as Christians are not perfect. Any true Christian will admit right away that they are not perfect and we sometimes mess up and do not love everyone. Since we all mess up, that is the reason Jesus cam and died for us. He came to save us from the death we deserve due to the sin we commit.
