A bit late to start worrying about this, isn't it?

If you are leaving tomorrow, don't start learning tonight. You'll just get there even more tired.

Just be polite and nice (easier to do when not tired). You'll be in a better mood to learn new words as you hear them in context, than if you try to recognize words that you haev read in a book but that are not pronounced the way you expected them from the book.

Use "merci" (thank you) very often (when appropriate, of course).

I would rule out using the informal address if you are just visiting the country and don't know anyone. That makes things a lot easier, since you only have to remember one form of address: vous

Here are some useful words and phrases:

Bonjour - good day
Bonsoir - good evening
Excusez-moi - Excuse me
Pardon - Sorry (excusing yourself)
Desolée - I'm sorry
Bonjour monsieur/madame/mademoiselle - '' sir/madam/miss (useful for when you are shopping)
Comment vous appelez-vous? - What is your name?
Je m'appelle... - My name is....
Enchanté - Pleased to meet you
Moi aussi - Me too.
Je voudrais.... - I would like....
... s'il vous plaît - ...please.
Vous avez...? - Do you have....?
Où est....? - Where is....?
.... les toilettes? - ....the toilets?
C'est combien? - How much is it?
Je ne comprends pas - I don't understand
Parlez vous anglais? - Do you speak English?
Je ne parle pas français (or simply: je parle pas français) - I don't speak French.
Je suis américainne/anglaise/canadienne/australienne - I am American/English/Canadian/Australian
Pour aller à...? - What is the way to....?
Vous allez.... - You go....
Quelle l'heure est-il? - What is the time?
Il est....heures - It's...... o'clock
un, deux, trois, quatre, cinq, six, sept, huit, neuf, dix, onze, douze - Numbers 1-12
Merci beaucoup - Thank you very much
Au revoir - Good bye (say this when you leave a shop as well)

This is purely survival stuff! I hope this helps and that you don't have too much trouble. Enjoy your trip!

~Just a couple phrases if you aren't having any luck~

bonjour- good morning
salut- hello! (informal greeting)
Comment allez-vous?- How are you? (formal)
Comment appelles-tu?- What is your name? (informal)
Comment vous appelez-vous?- What is your name? (formal)
Parlez-vous l'anglais?- Do you speak English?
S'il vous plaît- please
merci- thank you

Seriously, you will have a hard time in France if you can't speak any French. Not too many people will help you.

Good Luck.
