Muslims could fill in. Also JWs or mormons (according to fundies they won't make the cut). Dennis Miller might suggest the poor white man is persecuted.

Not sure if Bush will make it. Can stupid, immoral billionaire Texans count?

First of all...
If you are a Christian....God will remove all Christians from the Earth, to protect them. This is called "The Rapture." The term comes from the Latin verb raptare, and the Greek word harpizo, both meaning "to be caught up" or "to be snatched up." Jesus will "snatch us" out of harm's way. The one's literally, "left behind" will be non-christians or those who dont believe.
In essence, these would be the people that would have a persecution complex.

rapture is a term used by many pentecostal churches to mean disapear from our midst when God calls oneself to heaven...it seems to me that even the ones close by, friends, family, neighbours, etc are not aware that the raptured had gone right there and then...just disappeared...i only know one place in the bible which talks about Jesus coming to take his people to heaven...I Thess 3 ...you see in here, there is no disapearance...ALL eyes shall see Jesus...there is a loud shout from heaven and the dead in Christ shall rise - ressurrected - and meet him in the air...then those who are living but in Christ will catch up in the air...this is termed as the FIRST RESSURRECTION... Rev 20,21. The bible said ,these are the Blessed...so what about those who are dead during this first ressurrection but are not in Christ? They will wait in the grave till the SECOND RESSURECTION ...Rev 20, 21...to the hell's fire ...now to your question: WHO WILL BE AROUND? As mentioned, the DEAD in Christ AND the living in Christ have been received by Christ in the air...no disappearance...the dead but not in Christ are still not ressurected...finally, the LIVING BUT NOT IN CHRIST: they shall be consumed by the BRIGHTNESS OF HIS COMING - GLORY...II Thess 2:8..(has to cross-check whether this verse is correct...later, if you care to contact me )..so the evil living will die when Jesus returns as the bible says no man can look at God ( Jesus) face to face...he shall die!!..no contradiction...very finally, about PERSECUTION? these must come BEFORE THIS COMING OF CHRIST...it is quite a study...as to what the bible ACTUALLY SAY...NOT MAN'S OWN ACCOUNT...feel free to email me for discussion on this persecution issue...God Bless
