1. God created Hell as punishment for Satan and the angels who rebelled against Him. It was never intended for humans to be sent there. God wanted all humans to love and worship Him. Just like those who have children, you want them to love and respect you.

2. 1 Thes 4: 16-17. The dead in Christ will rise first and those who are still alive and remain will be caught up in the clouds to meet The Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with The Lord. Since for now, The Lord resides in Heaven Christians believe this is where we'll be.

3. There will be a new Heaven and a new Earth. By Isaiah 65:17. This is where the New Jeruselem will be and this is where Lord Jesus will rule forever!!

1. OK, maybe God doesn't love everyone as people would have you believe, then. There, that wasn't too hard.

2. The Bible doesn't say that if you are good enough you're going to heaven. Nothing Man does is good enough to get him into heaven.

3. If I'm not mistaken, the book of Revelation tells us that there will be a new heaven and a new earth. No, I don't know what that means in either physical or symbolic terms.

Okay. First off, Hell is a place were one is totally seperated from God. It was originally created for The angels that had betrayed God because they had decided that they wanted to live away from God so He gave them what they want. When Adam and Eve sinned for the first time, God gave the offer of eternal life with Him or eternal life without Him to humans. If you follow His will on Earth then you will spend eternal glory with God, but if you choose to reject Him then you will spend eternity without God. The only reason Hell is so bad is because it is the opposite of God, which means it's the opposite of Love, Joy, Purity, Peace, Kindness, Humblness, ect.

Listen, if there wasn't balance in this world, then there wouldn't be a world to live in. It - and civilization with it - would collapse in on itself. Without hate, we would never know love. Without pain, we would never know comfort.

And honey, I hate to break it to you, just just like everything else in this galaxy, the earth will eventually break down too. The sun cannot burn forever. Considered a G-star, it has a life span of only about 10 Billion years and right now it is about halfway through that life cycle.

A smart girl wouldn't believe everything the Bible says as literal fact. She would instead use it as a general guide to the way life used to be, and as a moral guide to her own life. Remember how many times the Bible has been translated (literally thousands) and remember how much is lost in translation.

First, the earth will remain "forever" vs. "eternal". Forever is the length of time that the physical world will exist. It is a long long length of time, but not eternal. The only time the word "infinite" is mentioned in the Bible is Psalm 147:5 "Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite." And yes, His power and understanding is infinite. The earth is NOT.
Eternity is timelessness, and the earth is NOT eternal. So try to get this silly doctrine out of your head.

Yes, we have a loving God who gave us free escape from hell through His Son. But that does not mean He will put His justice and judgment on hold like earthly judges do.

As for Hell, the Bible says that hell is a real place.

The Angel prophesying to Daniel said it was a real place...
Da 12:2 - And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, Some to everlasting life, Some to shame and everlasting contempt.

God revealed it to Isaiah that is a real place.
Isa 66:24 - “And they shall go forth and look Upon the corpses of the men Who have transgressed against Me. For their worm does not die, And their fire is not quenched. They shall be an abhorrence to all flesh.”

Jesus confirmed God's prophetic word to Isaiah three times!
Mr 9:44 “where ‘Their worm does not die, And the fire is not quenched.’
Mr 9:46 “where ‘Their worm does not die, And the fire is not quenched.’
Mr 9:48 “where ‘Their worm does not die, And the fire is not quenched.’

...and described it as a dimension of darkness.
Matt 25:30 "...cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

Jude spoke of it...
Jude 7 - suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

And John in Revelation also described heaven in detail.
Re 20:10&15 - And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire...and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

I would not bet my eternity on man made philosophies and against the Word of God.

As for the good going to heaven and the bad going to hell. Well, that is one area where you are correct. The Bible says clearly that only those not found written in the Lamb's Book of Life will go to Gehenna (hell). How do you get in to the Lamb's Book of Life? By accepting Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. THAT is the true gospel.

You gotta have faith! And that means you have to believe. I'm not going to judge that 70 percent of the people on this earth that make it a living hell, but I know I don't want them in the same heaven I'm hoping for.

The Bible states the only way to Heaven is by accepting Jesus as Lord. Works..IE being good won't do it. If works did, man would boast.

God didn't create hell, Satan created it by his actions. God does not want people in hell, He actually tries the best (without altering free will) to gain people to His place but people refuse and throw themselves to hell.

I've been asking this same question for years, and never got a straight answer. If you accept all things happen according to a god's "plan," why would he punish us for following the "plan?" It makes no sense. Sounds like a lot of fear-mongering horse sh*t to me.
