The traditional one year anniversary gift is something that has to do with paper. So i say you MAKE him a card or write him a letter, along with that you can buy him a smaal gift. Men always love perfume, clothes, watches...go according to ur budget.

Don't know if he is a 'jock' or not - but you could get him some paraphanalia that he likes (sports), or you can get a large photo of him made and framed. A good book or collection he might like, a nice watch (not too expensive). You could send a card and some small gift for every month until you reach 12 and take him to dinner....

it's true men like sex ... but I'm not going to assume I know whats going on in your relationship
but, what I want to say in this, men dont really care that much about a 1 year dating anniversary (or marriage for that matter) ... not the way it matters to some women anyway ... so dont get him too much, a card maybe (or better yet take him out to dinner for a change) ... whats more dont have expectations about what he will get you

I would go out somewhere nice and new to eat and if you want to buy him something nice I would suggest a nice watch. A watch is always a great gift and something he can always use. Plus every time he wears it, he will think of you. Congrats on your 1 year! Good luck!
