Oh yeah. Come on guys how many of you remember that game "Bloody Mary Bloody Mary"...I used to LOVE that in middle school. I'd stand in the bathroom and chant it. and my friends would say Ok but this time you have to put soap on the mirror, spin around 3 times and flush the toliet" so I'd do that. Wow that was soo much fun.
Ahhhh middle school. How I loved that.
Anyway yes I believe there is no deity. Yes I believe there are no evil spirits. And yes I'd still do an exercise calling evil spirits. Cause it's fun and amusing. Though I'm a lil too old to still spin around in the bathroom calling Bloody Mary.
But the reason we would all say yes to this question is...
see what we have is a dictionary problem.
You are unaware of the definition.
It's not that we "don't know if truly they exsist or not"--we belief as you do. You are in 100% belief that a deity (God) exists. Nothing could change your mind. He exists and that is all there is to it. There is no way to prove to you he doesn't.
Now for the definition of non-believer. We do not believe. We are 100% convinced in our belief a deity does not exist. Nothing could change our mind. He doesn't exist and that is all there is to it. There is no way to prove to us that he does.
DOES anyone see a similarity here? Anyone?? See if you could actually convince us that we were wrong, then the similarity would mean that we could just as easily convince you that you are wrong. B/c the lack of belief doesn't allow for belief in pagan gods (just like yours doesn't), the Heathen gods (just like yours doesn't), belief in worshiping items (just like yours doesn't)--we just carry that lack of belief one farther and don't believe in your "God" either. It's just as strong and just as similar as your belief.

I'll go even farther. You call the evil spirits. Tell them to go to this Elmjunburke guy and tear him apart. I'll be waiting for them, but I'll never see them.
All spirits exist only in the superstitious minds and imaginations of the weak minded.
Okay, that's a dare. All of you - - - send your evil spirits to destroy me. If I'm still here a couple of weeks from now, it will mean that you were all full of bull sh--.

Since there are no such things as spirits, "calling a[n] evil spirit to come to [me]" carries no risk.
You folks need to understand: Atheists have NO supernatural beliefs. NONE. We don't believe in gods, devils, demons, spirits (evil or otherwise), ghosts, goblins, gnomes, fairies, the New York Yankees or the Easter Bunny. Get over it.

Yes, I challenged Jehovah. The most deceitful one I could think of. He never showed. What a wuss. I'm not kidding either. I begged him to show himself. Strike me with lightning or something to put me back in my place. It never happened.
I was once approached by an "evil" spirit in a cave in Colorado. Was supposed to be some Indian spirits. All I felt was some fear of not knowing what it was. It did not enter me but it was curious, as was I. I couldn't see it but I felt it plain as day. Evil spirits are mostly misunderstood entities that we are uneducated about. They are most likely not interested in you in the slightest, or curious observers. I welcome the encounter, just to know the knowledge of the entity/s. Think.....what knowledge they would have!!!!

Why would someone how does not believe even do such a thing to begin with?
That doesn't mean that atheists (not non-believers dear, non-believers are those normally that don't believe in Christianity, not atheists) wont renounce the faith. Look into the Blashpemy Challenge. Atheists video taped themselves for youtube saying that they blasphemed the holy spirit.
If that's not proof enough for you that these people don't believe - that they would do the one unforgivable sin in the Christian bible, I don't know what is.

I'd get way to many chirstians that way.... you see the ones you are relying on to guide you are the evil one's you think because a spirit calls himself good that it is... there's no such thing as good spirits... because what was good got consumed a long time ago.... Usually murdered by christians.

I would feel very silly doing something like that. I would be more afraid of people laughing at me than I would of an evil spirit.

I do not believe any deity has been proved or disproved. However, I do not believe in evil spirits. That is just another bogeyman made to keep people in line.

Have done that thing, it fooled two intelligent people for a month. They, like you believed what others had told them, now they laugh at such silly nonsense. The human mind is powerful but vulnerable to suggestion. Simple psychology, nothing scary, just mind-games for the gullible !

It would be a waste of time.
But the next time you see an evil spirit, ask it to pay me a visit, please.
Oh, and you are also an 'unbeliever' in many hundreds of religions. Did you mean "atheists"?
