why do spirits chose certain people?

i have a serious question ....ok i am in no way shape or form connected to the spirtual world well i think but for the past week or 2 i have been seeing and feeling litterally spirits and ghosts alike and it is extremley scary well for me i have no idea why i have been chosen and i would love to know if someone could please help me i would appreciate it thank u!

ok well lets just say about a week ago i saw a dead boy that had fallen in a well and died way back in the indian days and just today...well i clean houses and i couldn't get into a bathroom to clean because i felt as if i was being pushed away from it and ther dog came and whined at the closet for like an hour it was really scary it felt like ther was some one in the room watching me!

Spirits can choose people for a variety of reasons. You may be growing spiritually which equates to a frequency change in you, which in essence, means that your energy body is becoming brighter. When you raise your consciousness, awareness, knowledge etc, your "light can" attract attention of many spirits and beings. Often times, discarnate entities near the earth plane sees this light and takes the opportunity to either attach to your energy or attempt communication in some form. A person becomes a lightbulb and/or a lighthouse for others.

Also, when your vibration level changes, you are more apt to see through to the "other side" as a "thinning of the veil" either a literal cosmic thinning or someone utilizing a gift of this seeing.

It can be a little disconcerting to see and feel others around you. You could three things to help 1 - when you feel them talk to them like you would any other person. Ask them to leave because they don't belong there. Tell them someone is waiting on the other side for them and they should go. 2 - When you start to feel a little frightened, tell them to go away because you feel frightened and you don't like it. And 3 - ask them what they want and how can you help them. Sometimes they are lost and can't find what they are looking for. As with a being helpful to a living person, simply ask them if they need help.

You may also ask their name and who they are and see if you get a name impression.

Try not to let it bother you. I think many of the spirits around are just visiting because of the light emitted and/or truly need help.

And if you are frightened, don't hesitate to call your guide and/or angel to help you out, for they are more than willing to. If you don't know of your guide, call to him anyway, for he's always there.

Ok. The first thing I will presume is that U are not a Christian? The next is that U are not taking medication or have recently changed medication? There is indeed a Spirit World as Christ & the Apostles did indeed cast out demons from people. This temporary Gift to the Apostles died with them however. Imagine if U will that U are a competer. The old saying "GI,GO" Garbage In, Garbage Out applies to us as well as puters! We are so pressured & bombarded with conscience & sub-conscience thoughts spawned of evil, that the "Dirt" starts sticking if U don't know Christ & aren't "Scotch Guarded" by the Holy Spirit. Fear not though, if U accept Christ U cannot be "Possesed" Demonically. If I were U, I would find a solid Christian Church to attend & start reading the Scriptures in one of the "New American Revised Versions" and pick up a good Study Guide as well. I'm sure that someone at the church U choose could be of some help to U in making a selection. Go to and sign up to receive "Our Daily Bread" which is a day by day Bible study in a monthly little book that they send out for free. Remember if it isn't in the "Good Book" U don't need it! John

Misty, there are some pretty good answers already. Don't know if you are a Christian. Even if you ar and are not walking close to God, you should not play around with things. They are spirits, not ghosts, and not good ones either. They can represent themselves just about any way they choose. There are some that will try to convince you that you can have power over them, associate safely with them, or just ignore them. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Their leader is the father of lies. Their purpose is to deceive you into thinking one of those things and slowly build their power and control over you and your circumstances. But more than anything they want to be a distraction to what God wants to do in you life. As long as you are focused on them you won't be seeking God.

Jesus died and rose again so that you could have victory thru Him over all the forces of evil that might come against you, but most importantly so that you could have a personal relationship with Him.

These demons and devils have no hope of salvation and are doomed to the next life in Hell. That place was created just for them, not for you and I. Their prupose is to deceive as many of us to end up there as they can because they hate the fact that we salvation offered to us.

And if we choose to exist without God, that is the only place left for us to accomplish that choice. God doesn't want that. He sacrificed horribly so that you could be with Him, not only for eternity, but in the here and now. And that is an awesome experience. The only way to God is thru Jesus and His sacrifice on the cross, atoning for all our sins. That is where the power is over these spirits. That is where God meets us.

We all have the potential to be 'connected' to the spirit world. God created us this way. Some people get 'connected' in a dangerous way either by choice or by accident. Seek the protection and understanding of the Holy Spirit provided by Our Father through Christ.

Up until 3 months ago, I figured there was some explaination for people claiming these experiences, like drugs or a mental defect of some kind. Then the Holy Spirit showed me how these things were possible, now they happen to me. Don't mess around in the 'spirit world', focus on the Holy Spirit.

if thereis a spritual church or meatings near where you live then maybe you should go along there .I have been going to a small one close to where i live . The 1st time i went it wos because my sister had been and she wos so exicted and told me all about it so the 1st time i went it wos out of cureosety.Iwos amazed at what i wos told .one week the person who wos ther asked me who had been doing a mureal .I had with photoes .he then said he told me this so i would now that my loved ones where still with me .
so it could be that loved ones in your family are trying to tell you somethink .dont be afraid because they meen you no harm they still love those they have left behind . i have a strong feeling that you need to find a spritual center that you can drop into or a medium .some one like colin fry .or the late doris stokes.

I guess it depends on whether they are evil spirits or possibly spirits from those that have gone before you, possibly some many generational family member. It's probably difficult to determine. I hope that what you are experiencing is a good thing. Good luck.

If you smell good, spirits will be attracted to you. I'd recommend switching deoderants, and if you burn incense, stop that, too. Try rubbing garlick under your arm pits after a nice long run, and rub fish paste on your teeth. That'll keep those nasty spirits away!

Go to graduate school in physics, and change your diet, and I guarantee that the spirits will leave you alone.
