I don't mean tossing a newspaper into a recycle bin. What real action have you taken to help reduce greenhouse gases (BTW: anyone who thinks CO2 issues are false needs to wake-up!). Actions like:
- reducing electrical usage at home / work
- implementing or helping to implement an environmental management system at work
- alternative home heating
- solar / wind power
- high efficiency appliances / lighting
- buying locally grown food (our your own garden)...

I have done almost anything you could do that really does help our earth.
-Recycle
-Donate some many to Environmental Groups because with the money you donated they take out 100% of gas out of the air. But only in a town.
-Tell others because they tell other people and those other people inform other people.
-Use fluorescent light bulbs.
-Drive a hybrid car because its cheaper and you save more money because you dont pay as much for gas as you would for a regular car.
-Turn off the lights when you leave a room
-Unplug charges when not in use.
-Take shorter shower heating water uses lots of energy.
-Write a letter to companies that pollute the air.
-Walk shorter distances instead of using a car.
-Wait until you have a lot of clothes to wash instead of washing only 1 shirt.
-Protest

We went all winter without turning on the furnace for our second floor. We did use the furnace for the first floor of our house, but we slept upstairs under a down comforter. Yes, it was cold. This is Illinois!

Cut down on driving, but to be honest it is because gas is at $3.30.

Cut down electrical use for the same reasons.
