ok i know there not permenate but i wanna loose at least 5 pounds (im 13) and plz no lectures about "ur 2 young" cuz i just ignore those coments. PLZ ANSWERE MEEEEEE!

Crash dieting is never healthy. Your best bet is to start eating 4-6 small meals and healthy snacks a day and drink lots of water to get your metabolism revved up.
Cut out sweetened products and fried foods. This is the best way to lose weight and it's a weight loss that will last. You will even be able to "cheat" once in a while with no lasting weight gain.

M-k... (& THIS one works every time!); stop eating. No- I'm not kidding or being smart. But if you're going to do something foolish like lose 5 pounds overnight- not eating is JUST as good a crash diet as any(& it's a LOT easier to do- & won't make you sick). Now if you're really not THAT much in a "rush" to get to your grave, then you CAN lose weight pretty quickly by simply eating 3 light balanced meals a day- plus running around the block a 1/2 dozen times a day 4 for or 5 times a week. It's up to you. If you still decide to "Crash", remember- the heart of that word is "destructive".

It's basically like a diet where you do a certain thing to drop weight fast, like say eating iceberg lettuce all day or the Atkins diet (yes it is, lol) I wouldn't necessarily act on it, ask her how it's being done, maybe then it would be worth intervening. I lost 80 lbs in 8 months doing it the slow and steady way after all those diet fads for years, so they never work for long.

Don't do a crash diet. Eat between 1400-1600 calories a day and work out for 30 minutes. You'll probably lose 5 lbs in around 2-3 weeks.

That way, you'll keep the 5 pounds off. If you do a crash diet, its probably all water weight and it will be back in a few days.

there is no such thing as a good crash diet right?! X]

all you do is stop eating, or eat a piece of lettuce a day or an apple, like one apple.

crash diet = keep your calories under 200 =X
ouch.

Theres no such thing as a "good" crash diet. Your just fasting, no food involved whatsoever until you've reached the weight you want to be at.

I'm sorry a CRASH diet is really bad. It will hurt you (and your body) like it clearly says. There are NO good crash diets

You must remember that anytime you starve your body you permanently mess up your metalbolism. If you starve yourself you are going to slow down your metabolism for a very long time if not permanently. You may lose a couple pounds but it will be easier to gain it back and harder to lose later.
