The FSM, being divine, transcends sexuality. Since the FSM is not animate in the way we are, and has no need to reproduce, the FSM is devoid of sex, or as we timid Americans like to say in our Bowdlerized way, "gender."
It is customary, however, given the traditions of the English language, to address and to describe the FSM by means of the masculine pronouns.
