im trying to get to new a girl i like, were good friends and both very shy, wheres a good place to get to know her without it being a date, any suggestions?

You can do about three possible things....depending on what shes like....is she Skater? If she is then....you can go to the mall and mess around at Spencers/zumiez...places like that....but if you dont want it to be awkward i sugest you asking her if she wants she can invite her friends and you do the same that way if you have a group of 10-15 then you'll all have fun together.
If Shes prep...pretty much the same...Mall....shopping...you know girly things that u enjoy as well...then mayby go out to dinner or somthin....buy her somthing she likes (a cute shirt a Cd or even an ice cream cone)
If shes emo.......concert (???) depending on if u wanna spend that much or if you both like the same type uh music....if thats a little too expensive for you that the mall.....it basically works for everyone....everyone at my school gos to the mall with bf/gf/just plain friends of different gender and its not awkward at all
Other things are bowling....arcade.....or walk around together at the school and stuff...eat lunch together...go up to her at lunch and say Hey! Whats up! and if you dont like talking to her that much just say that smile and walk away.

If you live close to a "Dave and Busters," that's usually fun and not like a date at all. Then you wouldn't have to take friends along if you don't want to because there's so much to do there. Good Luck.

Go to the mall. There's usually plenty of places to eat, a movie theater, an arcade, etc... so there's plenty of places to hang out all in one location.

well there nothing like a friend date but just as friends that the closest theing to a date im 13 and a guy

Umm...find out what she likes to do...anyway, anytime you go to a place to spend time with someone it's a "date." Suggestions: movies, bowling alley, arcade? depending on the girl.

dont make it a date. Just tell her when u think its the right time, and when u think she is alone. I think that u should just do this w/out thinking that it is a date, or thinking that it is going to make her u're g/f suddenly. GL!!!

why dont you ask her as a friend to the moves,go get somthing to eat with her, beach,public pool, she would like any one of thoese so you can get to know her better....you 2 shouldnt be shy your both people you just have to be confident in yourselves... your both shy because you like each other... hope i have helped you if you need anymore advice please free to ask me
