I have bacne on my back and shoulders. I read somewhere that putting vinegar on it really helps! Does anyone know anything about this-- can it harm your skin or make the bacne worse? I'm already on acne medacine, so will using the vinegar in unison with the medication have a bad effect? Please help its almost summer and its so embarassing to show off my back!

Vinegar? I don't know about that. Your acne medication should help to clear up your back as well. But if it's not, I'd recommend a cream of some sort--look for ones with 10% benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid. These are the strongest you can get without a prescription. If you have someone that can help you apply it, that'll make it much easier. Or, you can buy a liquid astringent and put it in a spray bottle so you can apply it yourself. Clean & Clear makes an astringent that I've used before. Also, Nature's Cure has a spray bottle product, but it's more expensive. Hope this helps!

I used a little corn starch like baby powder for about a week. I also learned to let me back dry more completely after showering so that it wasn't wet when i put clothes on. I used to have a bad problem with this, now i don't.

i had that when i was pregnant. all 3 times. avon makes a bubble bath. i don't know the name but it's in a large pink bottle. it's one of their older products. when i took a bath with it, it dried up all the acne and cleared it quite a bit. of course you'd have to lay so that your shoulders would be in it and soak for a while but, who's not up for a long hot bath? i did that a couple times a week.i know it sounds goofy but, it really worked well.
