I do not particularly like the word religion because it sometimes carries with it the negativity of false religions and extremists.
I know there is only one universal Truth that was fulfilled in Jesus Christ and in accepting this Truth, anyone can then become born again, saved, a believer, a Christian, and be a part of a relationship with Jesus, not a religion. This Truth is the Bible because the Bible is a living and spiritual book about the history of the relationship between God and man.
The main point or crux of the Bible and history is His story, or the life, death, Resurrection, Ascension of Jesus Christ, who is now sitting at the right hand of God the Father, waiting for the day of judgment, when all will be judged, the living and the dead.

I absolutely agree with you there is only one true religion. I'm not a master of the scriptures but I do know that God is a loving God and he would allow millions of truths (churches) and say that they are all right because they are not they all believe in different thing.
The thing is that we have to find it for ourselves and who is better to ask for that guidance than God. I am a former JW and I understand that there is a lot of reasoning and scripture pointing behind every rule. I never believed it because I never felt that it was right because they would tell me that it is true but I didnt know for myself.
And I'm also 16, and I did alot of praying and fasting for the truth and I did search the scripture and found amazing things but when I became a latter day saint. It was then that I completely understand that there must be one truth because I prayed and ask God myself. And it was a much better answer than other people telling me what to believe and what is right.

Yes, there is only one true religion & that religion must have all of the following 14 points to be considered the true church as taught by Jesus:
1) Christ organized the Church (Eph 4:11-14)
2) Must bear the name of Jesus Christ (Eph 5:23)
3) Must have a foundation of Apostles and Prophets (Eph 2:19-20)
4) Must have the same organization as Christ's Church (Eph 4:11-14)
5) Must claim divine authority (Heb 5:4-10)
6) Must have no paid ministry (1 Cor 9:16-18; Acts 20:33-34; John 10:11-13)
7) Must baptise by immersion (Matt 3:13-16)
8) Must bestow the gift of the Holy Ghost by the laying on of hands (Acts 8:14-17)
9) Must practice divine healing (Mark 3:14-15)
10) Must teach that God and Jesus are seperate and distinct individuals (John 17:11; 20:17)
11) The officers must be called by God (Heb 4:4; Ex 28:1; 40:13-16)
12) Must claim revelation from God (Amos 3:7)
13) Must be a missionary church (Matt 28:19-20)
14) Must practice baptism for the dead (1Cor 15:16&29)
Ther is only one church on the earth today that has all these points & that is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
JAMES 1:5-6
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

Does this mean that all other religions are false? I think any opinions about any particular religion can only be subjective. Belief is ultimately a question of the heart and the incident of where one happens to be born. In the world there are many religions and each in its own way is attempting to reach the Divine through a different door. Down to their very basics - the major religions at least - all seem to aspire to the same perennial truths.

Yep...
The Bible was inspired by God.
Bible is 66 books written by 40 inspired different authors over thousands of years.
1000's of Men and women died for this book would be persevered for the future.
There are 1000’s of prophesy throughout the Bible and more than 90% have already been fulfilled. Every verse is expressing Gods prophecy and plan for the world and his people, the Jews. The Bible is the most historical book from that time in print.
It also has 1000,000,000s of copies maybe even more.
It is the oldest book that is still widely printed today.
The Bible never contradicts its self and it is in sync with history.

Christ estblished his church, outlined its organization with Apostles and Prophets etc. and told what we should do in the sermon on the mount. When the Prophets (Apostles) died so did His church and so there are thousands of churches. The Nicean creed was formulated to try to bring unity but without a Prophet it was just another man's opinion and so mixed up it is declaired a mystery by the men who formulated it. Without a Prophet there is no true religion. Its like two or three jigsaw puzzles thrown together and half the peices are missing. We are told there would be prophets in the latter days and you would know them by their works.

Yes there is only one true religion. That is the only true response to our Father in Heaven. All other responses to gods and or goddesses result from sin, and the desire to avoid the light that exposes the sin in our life. Seeing sin in our life is the only way to deal with it, by believing in the sacrifice that Jesus made for us and repenting of sin and walking in newness of life in him. What is extremely interesting is that unbelievers know that the only way to deal with a problem is to admit that you have a problem. They just don't see sin as a problem because here at the end of the ages preachers have stopped preaching about the damnation of those who do not repent. Thank you for your courage in defending the faith once delivered. You will be persecuted much more strongly than you have been so stay strong in the Lord. The Lord be with you.
edit:
There are no denominations in the body of Christ. When you call yourself by a denominational name you have divided the body. We are commanded to come out of false religion which is all the daughters of the whore of Babylon, the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

I'm reminded of a quote from the movie, "Men in Black." Tommy Lee Jones (Kay) says to Will Smith (Jay), "A thousand years ago everybody knew for a fact that the earth was the center of the universe. Five hundred years ago, everyone just knew that the earth was flat. Fifteen minutes ago, you just knew that we humans were alone in the universe. Imagine what you'll know tomorrow that you didn't know today."
God's wisdom is progressively revealed to humans throughout history. Just imagine what he/she/it/they might reveal tomorrow that we do not know today.
