You will lose weight, but you will also lose muscle mass and, if extended to long-term, possible organ failure. You're basically putting your body in starvation mode, causing it to adapt to the change in food intake. Metabolism will decrease, making it easier to gain weight later. I wouldn't suggest it.

This will make you lose weight but you're going to be in starvation mode. 500 is super unhealthy, even if you are losing weight. I suggest that you eat 1200-1500 calories and excercise. This will make you lose weight, and also make you a lot healthier.

You will lose some weight at first, but this will be muscle as this is what the body will be using to survive. You will also confuse your metabolism. Best to stay above 1200 calories, this will be the most effective and healthiest way to go.

Never go below 1200 calories if you are a female, because your body will go into starvation mode and it is possible that you might gain weight, besides doing serious damage to your body. (1500 if you are male.) As a female, your body and organs needs a minimum of 1200 calories just to function.
-The heart needs 12% of the calories (144 cals)
-The kidney needs 12% of the calories (144 cals)
-The Liver needs 23% of the calories (276 cals)
-The brain needs 23% of the calories (276 cals)
-The skeletal muscle needs 30% of the calories (360 cals)

Considering the average person require over 2000 calories per day, I'm guessing lose weight...but that weight would be all muscle. No sense is starving oneself. Anorexia is not attractive.

Yeah, if you want to be an anorexic or become so malnourished that your organs start to shut down.
Actually, it is recommended that you eat 6 times a day:
three meals and 3 snacks.
It keeps your metabolism going and it sheds off the pounds.
Of course, you have to eat healthy foods.

The first week you will because it will send your body into a state of shock... but then after that your body will go into starvation mode. When this happens, your body wants to retain your fat. So then you most likely won't lose much...
