Homemade Pizza Sauce:
Much better than the kind you find at the store.
40 min 10 min prep
2 cups
1/2 cup chopped onions
2 tablespoons minced garlic
2 tablespoons oil
1 cup chopped fresh tomatoes
8 ounces tomato sauce
6 ounces tomato paste
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons oregano
2 teaspoons basil
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1. In lg skillet, saute onion and garlic in oil until tender.
2. Stir in remaining ingredients.
3. Simmer for 30 minutes.
4. Stir occasionally.

... i usually make french break pizza -- i just buy italian bread and use sauce, mozzarella cheese and whatever toppings i want on it

Homemade pesto.
1/2 lb basil leaves
1/4 cup parmesean
5 cloves garlic
1/2 jalapeno (w/seeds)
1/4 cup roasted pine nuts
Put in a blender and add extra virgin olive oil till it reached the constincey you like. then season with salt and pepper.

Take some Prego original they also have italian and other flavors depending on your preference. You dont have to add anything. its wonderful on pizza.
