Why would the church i went to on Easther sunday do a whole sermon on anti abortion i though easther had to do with Jesus' rising from the dead?!

Many people attending on these days do not come often, and therefor the church wants to get out their message on abortion. I in no way believe it was right for your church to give a sermon on anti abortion when the celebration of easter is when christ rose from the grave. I believe this is what the sermon should have been about not abortion.

From the way you worded your question, it seems as if this is one of the only times you went to this church. My guess is that is the reason the pastor talked abotu abortion--because the people who showed up that Sunday were the ones who most needed to hear it.
