I am a female, 16 years old. I'm a varsity swimmer and am normally in decent shape (5 foot 4, 120 lbs) but am on break and noticed I've put on a little weight. I want to look nice for summer and senior prom (my boyfriends a senior).

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats and it will tell you how many calories a day you need to maintain your weight. take 300-400calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
eat 5-6 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones.
5-8 servings of fruit and vegetables a day.
8 glasses of water a day.
4-6 times a week cardio work out for 30-50min plus light weight training.
no junk food, no sodas, no white flour (white bread, pasta, cookies, cakes etc)

Eat healthy... 4-5 SMALL meals each day. Stay away from snacks. Cardio helps for getting rid of fat all over, like running or jumping speed rope. To tone your abs, you can purchase an exercise ball and do cruches on there, or you can get an ab wheel... just one plain wheel that DOESN'T help you pull back and you have to do all the work on your own. It works REALLY well. Good luck!
