I won best celebrity mum of the year award and although i am really proud of this acheivement I can't help but wonder if it was a sympathy vote due to you know, my little harvey being a handicapped kid!! Do any of you think I am a great mum??

If you are the real Katie Price, yes you are a great Mum. I admire you for the way you put your kids first and do anything to help others like your Harvey. However, I seriously doubt you are the real Katie as I thought she would be too busy to go on this site or care about what people think.

It does not matter if you are Katie Price
only one thing does matter that you and anyone can be a good mum and the way you look after your son who is handicapped you loved him for who he is and you love your other son and you are due for your other baby soon
You can give them love and everything and that's what is a best mum
i have 2 children myself and my son always say mum your the best and I'm not i just love them both of them i have be thought a lot like what you are going thought now
just be there and enjoy being a mum that's the best thing nothing else

It takes a lot of things to make a great mum - no one is ever going to get everything right.
But I think the most important thing is that your care for your children. I work with little kids every day and I see so many parents and so many different styles of looking after children. I'm trained in one way for the work place but see the impact that parents have on their children.
I think just by asking the question you make a great mum. It shows that you care about your children. Don't worry about what people think about you - you're doing great. Just keep loving your children the way you are.
Just to say on the award front - my mum I think she's amazing and she got given an award by her boss when I was a baby for being the best mum in the office. But she's always said that me loving her is the best award she could have.
I think you are a wonderful mother - keep it up!

How would we know?
You might be better if you talked about Harvey as being more than a 'kid'...
Perhaps you are more concerned with how others see you than being what you really want to be...a great mum?
In my experience, great mums just do it...then after many years of struggle and sacrifice...they look all surprised when people have known all along that they are angels with hearts of gold.
You're not a legend yet. If you want to be one...do the groundwork. You're a woman...it's not like you don't have the ability.

U are the kid's mum and u yourself is the only person who would know whether u are a good mum or not,

for those of you who have no idea who Katie price is, shes a glamour model who married an Aussie singer called peter, has 2 kids Harvey - has a few health probs and baby junior. also a "singing" career and reality shows.
any who, i think that Katie is doing the best job she can under the circumstances.
