We've already been frightened *away* from Christ over the past 2000 years! Crusaders, Inquisition, pogroms, Holocaust. You have much explaining to do before you can win over a Jew.

Don't do it. Your friend has a right to his own religious views. If he's an orthodox Jew, he doesn't believe in an after-life, or Heaven, or Hell. Jews have been persecuted for centuries because of their faith and are rightfully offended when a Christian starts telling them what to believe. He doesn't want to talk about it because he knows such talk will almost certainly destroy your friendship. Do you have even the slightest idea how offensive Christianity is to most of the rest of the world? Consider this: Adolph Hitler was a practicing Catholic who enjoyed audiences with two different Popes. Then the Catholic Church compiled lists of persons of Jewish ancestry and provided them to the Nazi regime, thus subsidizing the holocaust. There are few people in this world as intolerant as a newly converted Christian. Don't believe me? Just re-read your own question....... I suggest you keep your new found religion to yourself until you're old enough to truly understand the consequences of your decision.

You can't really scare anyone into beliving in Christ. What you can say to him is that there are over 300 prophecies in the Jewish bible (the Old Testament) about Jesus. Then I would find a good bible study to go over with him.

Reasoning through the scriptures together is a much better way to win someone over to Christ.

Jews for Jesus is a group of Jewish believers in Jesus. They are very helpful in witnessing to Jewish people about Christ. Here is their web site:

Im glad you that you are now a Christian. I didnt know that happened. Dont force it on him or try to scare him. Be paitent and keep trying to talk to him about God's love. Show him the prophiecies in the Old Testiment which he should believe being Jewish and tell him how Jesus fulfills them and that he is the Messiah the Jews have been waiting for.

You shouldn't scare your friend into believing in Christ. No, that would be the wrong way of taking it...and what would that say about the God you serve.

The best thing to do is to pray...and pray without ceasing as the bible saids in 1 Thessalonians 5:17...and remember Christ answers prayers. Even if not right away, perhaps, with your friend He is trying to teach you patience and long suffering. But, remember to ask it in Christ name, because as He said in John 14:13-14:

13 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

So, have patience and faith, and ask of for it! Don't try to relie on yourself, but remember that it is the Lord that saves, not you.

This is precisely why religion is so abhorrent. You're wanting to scare your friend into Christianity because it presented to you a place called Hell and it never even bothered to prove that such a place existed.

WAKE UP. All religions are a lie. There is no Hell. You've been majorly HAD, Punked Even.

It's normal to be overly concerned about your friend's soul and possible future suffering, but the best way to become a witness for God's love and compassion is by example. Pray for the Lord's guidance in this area and ask HIM to help you be a positive example for your friend.

It is not your job to save him from hell, only Jesus has that power, but you can share Jesus' love by sharing how it has helped you. If you have something fun planned at your church then you can invite him, but be prepared for him to say "No." Just keep asking and talking about things that he's comfortable with.

~Remember this...you might be one of many people who shine the light of Christ in this friend's life. It may take years to bring a change to his heart, and FEAR should never be the reason he accepts Jesus as Savior.

God Bless you on your journey!

From the Holy Quran
[2:113] The Jews said, "The Christians have no basis," while the Christians said, "The Jews have no basis." Yet, both of them read the scripture. Such are the utterances of those who possess no knowledge. GOD will judge them on the Day of Resurrection, regarding their disputes.

You do not want to scare them into anything. That will not last and is a very wrong way to win someone to Christ. Your best way is to live a good Christian life before them. Let your actions preach the mesage of love, compassion, and patience to them.

If you are his best friend, then he needs no enemies! Scare your friend into Christ???? IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN! Jews don't scare that easily and certainly not about that. It won't work and you will lose a friend.
