Everyone has a soul I think or is meant to (there will always be anomalies) and the capacity to be spiritual...this does not mean you have to believe in a higher power.
There are, as I said, always anomalies. There are certain people who I question have or had souls...like Hitler. There are those who are so evil and cold that when you look at their eyes all you see is a wall of blackness. They care for no one and nothing means anything to them. We define them as sociopaths or megalomaniacs, etc.
I do not know where the soul is, I do not know where the capacity to be spiritual comes from. I think all of it is a part of our brains, perhaps undiscovered and in some cases never reached. I do not think you HAVE to be spiritual to have a soul. I think using the capacity to be spiritual is a choice we make even though we all have the capacity.

Yes all human being have souls!
"And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." Genesis 2:7.
A soul is a living being. A soul is always a combination of two things: body plus breath. A soul cannot exist unless body and breath are combined. God's Word teaches that we are souls.

The bible never says that we have a soul. In the book of Genesis, it says that Adam was a soul. The definition of a soul is a Living creature, physically. Nothing inside a living creature.

That's a tough one. Nobody really knows, though they may have faith. I can see it either way. The electric energy travelling our nerves, creating storms of consciousness in our minds could be our soul. But I can see how that can just be lost when we die. We would definitely need help to make it through to the other side. I do know that there are those who can get inside our minds and create beautiful dreams.
That much I know for sure. So perhaps they can take us away in our dreams. I hope anyway.

According to scientific research, the spirit or soul as you called it can be measured by an actual weight. When someone dies, the spirit actually leaves the body and the body weighs less. The scientist have taken into account the weight of the oxygen and other gases etc...

No..souls are an invention of the religiously infected naives. Guarantee not a one of the answers you will get will there be any empirical evidence for a soul.

I don't know, and you can't know. You can chose to just have 'faith' that you do, but there's really no way you can know. Personally, I think it's rather arrogant to think that, as a human, you know what God's plan is (if in fact there is one of course).
