Why is Catholic Education important for a Catholic?

I'm going to HS and i need to write a essay on Why Catholic education is important to me. Y is it important to you?

Your Catholic Education is the most important thing you can do in your life. Period. Your strength in the faith is what you will need for what is coming in the future - things like marriage, children, charity for those in need. The courage and know-how to handle those things comes from the love and faith of God and His Church and knowing what His Church teaches. There is no university degree that can do this for you.

The closer you grow to God and His Church, the better you know your faith, the better your life will be. Read the Catechism, study your bible. Pray. Worship. Keep God closer to you than you keep your purse.

Alot of non-Catholics go to Catholic schools to get a better education. Get with the program. Read the stats on it. I bet your essay isn't as good as an essay written by a Catholic school kid. I help my nephew with his Catholic school work. He is in the 5th grade and his homework is as hard as tenth grade or even college level work in many respects. The chance of you ever going to college after finishing public school is very low compared to a Catholic school graduate. You can be any religion and go to Catholic school. You will be smart enough when you graduate to decide your religious beliefs at anytime in life. You will have better values no matter what these anti-Catholics say. Public schools are for everyone so you get alot of people not worth spending the extra money for going to them. Public is quantity, Catholic is quality. There are some quality public schools but they are scarce in alot of communities.

Do you mean Catholic education of the church or catholic education as in the school you attend? If you mean of the Church then it is for you to know who, how and why our church was formed.

Who=Jesus Christ, who placed the Church into Peter's hands along with the keys to the Kingdom

How= Peter took the lead from Jesus and built what is now the Holy Catholic Church

Why= Jesus established a Church, not a religion and wants all of us to belong to the one Body of Christ.

If it is your school education it is because in Catholic or other private schools you get a better education then those who are in public school, and it will help you in the long run of going to college and in life, you will be better prepared then most kids who attend public school

Oh, it's very important. Catholic kids get all the breaks, like having a priest sexually molest them.

If someone is immersed completely in a culture, religion or cult, it becomes all they can think about, so you can say it is important because it helps you reinforce your beliefs.
