While I agree she should get along time in jail, there is a legal difference between dismissing the case for lack of evidence, and having enough proof to know they are lying

Actually, the boys attorneys are moving in that direction: malicious prosecution. But it's being directed at the District Attorney's Office not the girl. His office is responsible for the charges that were leaved erroneously against the students, not her.

The blame lies clearly on the DA who had no evidence to back up the accusation, but went ahead anyway

There's a case to be made that she's not in her right mind and may have been manipulated through this whole mess by the scumbag prosecutor.
