I think all kids are good. The question should be, "What defines a "good parent"? If you want a better kid be a better parent.

Well I would say a child who tries his best each day, even when he has his bad day.A child who listens most of the time,is polite and respectful to those around him.A kid who shares most of the time,is kind towards others and does not go out of his way to hurt others. I don't expect any kid to be a clone of adults but just to be a kid.i don't expect perfection just behaviour that is not deliberately unkind, hurtful and mean. What is a good kid? Exactly what you see in a kid.Love them flaws and all after-all we expect them to love us!When I see my grandkids they make me proud and I think to myself they are good kids.

I don't believe there is such a thing as a "bad kid."
Children are products of their environment, upbringing, & genes. They have to be taught to be "bad." Granted, all children misbehave at some point, but you have to separate the action from the child. Children are still learning what is acceptable and what is not.

My opinion of a "good kid" is a child that listens and obeys the parents, not obnoxious and rude, and a child that sleeps regularly (mostly just for the parents sake)

One who has good morals and is respecful of others. I have met many people who have one of these characteristics, but not the other. It is hard to find somebody with both.

No one is good, not one, and no one seeks after God- Romans 3:10
We are all born into sin, and it is only through salvation in Jesus Christ that any good can become of us. Because he changes us and gives a new heart- a heart that wants to please God, when we believe in Him. But every child is born with a wicked heart--because of sin. And they must become born again-- in the spirit of God, by beleiving in what He did on the cross, that He died and rose again, so we could be saved from His wrath.( see John 3:16-17) The only good in me, is Christ living in me- and I praise Him for His wonderful salvation!
1 John 3:9
No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God.
