Percocet..as I imagine you know, is a Schedule ll narcotic indicated for moderate to sever pain. Possible indications are broken ribs and fracture disc and migraines. I have had them prescribed for those conditions. For chronic cancer pain. Also for wisdom teeth pain, rheumatoid arthritis.
Never for stomach pains, sprains, muscle pulls, torn ligaments or muscles or twisted ankles. For sever injuries sustained in a car accident...but not a fender bender.
Basically you have to be in real pain. If you are trying to figure out what to tell the Doctor to get Percocet...it just won't work. You don't know enough anatomy to pass and just saying I broke by back won't work. Any other questions?
You souns like a typiba deug seeker......

Percocet, a narcotic analgesic, is used to treat moderate to moderately severe pain. It contains two drugs--acetaminophen and oxycodone. Acetaminophen is used to reduce both pain and fever. Oxycodone, a narcotic analgesic, is used for its calming effect and for pain.
Percocet contains a narcotic and, even if taken only in prescribed amounts, can cause physical and psychological dependence when taken for a long time.
Why do you want to know what a doctor will prescribe percocet for? This is drug is additive.

It varies from doctor to doctor, but generally, percocet is prescribed for moderate to severe pain (considering it's a pain medication lol). I've gotten it for toothaches (they also give Vicoden for that), after I gave birth, and I know many others who have gotten it after surgery, car accidents, etc. I guess just moderate to severe pain....just take your pick! lol

Percocet is a pain medication. It all depends on the doctor. Some doctors perscribe Vicodin for pain, others perscribe Loritab for the same pain, and others will perscribe Percocet. It is usually perscribed for moderate to servere pain.

On a scale of 1-10 ten being the worst pain, it has to be a 9 or 10 or worse. It is a schedule two narcotic, so each time you have it refilled you have to see the doctor first.

You either have to be in severe pain, such as a broken bone, or severe muscle problems, such as fibromalagia. Even then a doctor might prescribe something else. It depends.
