FOcus all your thoughts on being your perfect weight. Dont think abouit losing the weight, just about what it will feel like to be the perfect weight. Believe with all your heart that you are already your perfect weight.
It worked for me.
Btw, you probably should keep to what you have been doing. Just add the thoughts.

Avoid processed foods. Eat mostly raw fruits an vegetables. You need much more exercise than just walking. Start doing some aerobics and weight training.

Seriously I have spent most of my life like you thinking the little things like no junk food and a walk every day should lose my weight but it didnt.Once I finally got serious and realized what had to be done were the things I didnt want to do, like cutting out most foods except fruit & veg and doing SERIOUS excercise 2 hrs a day at least, then finally I was able to lose weight. So you can waste your time convincing yourself that what you are doing will ever work or you can make the life changes that have to be made in order to lose weight.

The first thing to remember is that most people don't lose weight immediately after starting a diet or undergoing lifestyle changes.
Have patience! Keep on doing what you are doing and before you know it, you will start to loose weight.
Also, white sugar and high fructose corn syrups are major enemies in the diet wars. Make sure you are drinking a lot of water and teas. If you need your tea sweetened, use natural honey or sweeteners like Splenda or Equal. Drinking soda and alcoholic beverages can also sabotage your diet because of their high amounts of sugars.
Keep a food journal and write down everything you are eating and drinking. Being able to see, on paper, what you ate and drank in a day can help to see patterns that need to be changed.
I wouldn't lower your daily calorie count to lower than 1100. 1200 would be a great number for you.
You should be proud of yourself for taking this important step. So many of us talk about changing our diets and exercise habits but never get around to doing it.
Keep up the good work! You will see results before long.

It sounds to me like you are not eating enough which slows your metabolism down. Eat 5 smaller meals a day and up your calories to about 1500-1600 because of the exercise (stick to 1300 on days you don't) you do and see if that helps.

Whatever you do don't cut back to less than 1200. That is the minimum a woman needs a day to function properly.

The only reason your not losing weight is because your taking in more calories than your using. Plain and simple. Read labels on your food, if your eating a low calorie food it may be high in fat, you don't want to eat fat. Read labels and step up the exercising, do something besides walking. Walking is great, I love it, but you have to incorporate some weights, some pilates, some kickboxing. Its great fun.

the biggest mistake that people make when dieting is not eating enough. they go from having a caloric excess to eating too few calories

check the website below to determine if you are consuming enough calories for your body composition and daily level of activity. the body will not release fat stores for use as energy unless the caloric intake is sufficient.

When you eat don't eat a lot. And try some other sports cause walking for you wouldn't get you any better. Try running or any other sport that make you move a lot.
