Well, I call it 'letting things go' and it's quite a weight off my mind sometimes. I hope to eventually be able to let everything go, but for now there are some things that I just can't, and they take up more of my thoughts than I want.
I'm not being kind to myself by holding on to these things and if anyone would like to pray, send love and light, cycle energy with the noosphere, think happy thoughts, chant or whatever you call it, I would be grateful since I have held on to some of these things for over 20 years.

very relieved...like a huge burden was lifted off of me. I felt renewed and refreshed. I forgave a friend who left me for dead in my time of need to be with people who didn't really care about her, and I forgave an ex who abused me in every way. It was so much better after and I was a lot happier.

Free. Free from anger and resentment that ultimately wasn't hurting the person I forgave, but was stiffling my ability to live a full and happy life.

Forgiveness is a choice and may be accompanied by feelings of release but may not...there also may be a restoration of fellowship that follows...or not....
The most important step is to will to forgive....and to never allow the bitterness to take root again.

I feel relieved...that the burden is no longer mine...if you have not forgiven the person who has wronged you...you are wronging yourself...
