I'm not Christian and I'm not sure where you can go to get encouragement if that's what you need. I just wanted to say that you shouldn't be bashed for your beliefs no matter if others believe like you do. Just remember how you feel being bashed and try not to do the same to others. People will see you for what type of person you really are.

I am sorry to hear that you were bashed on because of your name. I am a Christian also, and have endured my share of bashing over the years because of it, but it only has served to make me stronger.
There are a lot of ignorant and uneducated people in the world, and there are definitely a lot that show up on the Internet as it is a window to the world. I have learned to ignore the haters and the bashers, I live in the USA which thankfully, allows me to believe in any way I choose.
I have had a wonderful life by being accepting of and interested in learning about all races and religions and the people who are members of both.
A true Christian follows the ways of Jesus and he preached for us to accept all people and embrace them, not push them away.
You remain strong in your beliefs and learn to ignore the hate-mongers. It truly saddens my heart to hear that type of baloney is still going on, to you and to the other answerer who said they were kicked out of a "Christian" site as they were gay.
You will get stronger and better able to ignore the hate as you get a bit older, it was more difficult for me when I was younger.
I send you Gods blessings, and the hope that the hateful will be healed.
Have a good night.

I'm not really good at encouragement such as this, but I can understand how you feel. I'm a Christian, too, but I don't think I would look for much encouragement here. Many are here only BECAUSE they like to bash people. Maybe get out with your Christian friends more. Those who know you best can likely encourage you best.

You can come here for encouragement. I'm an atheist but I encourage christians when I can. You will always find one or two hateful people whereever you go. You can try an all-christian board, but they have in-fighting there as well. Try to ignore the bad and keep the good. Don't take the bashers personally. Most of the time they're kids flexing their muscle while they're home sick for the day.

Do you really want to know why ?
Because they are sending you a message you eyes are too blind to see
Inside of coming here and crying the poor me look within and ask yourself what did they see in my name I did not ?
It is like the fat kid at school and everyone teases him until he loses the weight he will always be called names
When he realises he has to lose weight for his health and own happiness he then gains a personal growth and should thank them for pointing out something he did not see
Have you taken into consideration the pain and suffering the churches have cause so many people around the world and just the word church can make them cringe ?
Do you understand what I am trying to tell you ?
I hope so
Love & Blessings
Milly

With that username you are certain to get bashed quite a bit. Sorry but that's the way it is. Yahoo groups might be better policed than the games or YA. Try not to be discouraged by it - it says a lot about them and nothing about you. As frog demonstrates, there are plenty of christians willing to chat via IM with you.

People are 8 foot tall and indestructible behind their computer screens and anonymous names. Stay strong and ignore the hot air and ignorance spewing forth from the mouths of the unbelieving hordes or find that site you were wondering about. By the way, if you find it don't come back here and tell others.... it'll only bait the trolls to follow you.

Where ever you go, you will always be bashed. I admire that you express your believe so openly with your user name, but many people are just ignorant. I guess you just have to deal with it. Look...you don't see the people you chat with...you don't know who they are...they don't know you. So, just ignore their ignorance. It would be different if someone is right in front of you and you then would need to defend your beliefs.

I encourage you to keep the courage of your convictions. The creator is the only one you have to worry about. Stand tall do not let these people get to you. After all you have the support of the Creator.
