I can tell you what my symptoms were when I had it.

Severe mouth burning
Tooth pain/sensitivity
Sore throat
Fever
Lips burning and red
Ulcers in mouth
Swollen tongue
Swelling of face
Face red, warm to touch

If you think you may have oral cellulitis, see your doctor or dentist immediately. Cellulitis must be treated with antibiotics ASAP.

Cellulitis is inflammation of the cells and is most often times caused by irritation to the tissues in the mouth (this could be the buccal area or inside the cheek, tongue or soft palate). Rinsing with one part Maalox and one part peroxide will help. In the meantime, apply OraGel to alleviate the pain until it is gone. Also avoid hot and spicy foods as they will only aggravate it further and take longer to heal. You also need to see your dentist to confirm your conclusion of cellulitis. I have to wonder where you came up with that diagnosis. See your dentist and play it safe!
