There's a great book called "The Bedside Book of Saints" that has a whole chapter on the joy and laughter of the saints. Not every holy person has to walk around in the clouds, or wearing a somber expression on his face.

I too am a Pantheist Pagan and although my beliefs decision from yours (particularly) i'm able to work out the point you try to make. there'll always be those who say we worship the created and not the author yet when the universe became certainly created by using the hand (or ideas) of the Divine then it too holds divinity and the appreciation and acknowledgment of it really is what Pantheism is (to me). that isn't worship. that's problem-free reverence. I revere the universe, I respect it and keep in mind that i will never understand or comprehend each and every thing. I believe that our Daddy God is similar to our earthly dad. When we do or say something that is funny I'm sure that He also laughs at His children just like my spouse and I laugh at our little 2 year old daughter. When we stop taking ourselves so seriously we'll begin to see us as God sees us
