Well since sponge bob is played on the devil worship channel late at night so as to not offend the many Christians and other God believers in our society, I guess God would consider it a pretty stupid idea to dress your child up like that for Halloween. And since He feels that Halloween its self is a sin, then I would suggest you don't celebrate it anytime soon just to to be safe. And in case your wondering Jesus watches sponge bob.

For something to be a serious sin, it must meet three requirements:

it must be something serious
you must know it is serious
And you must intend it. You cannot sin by accident.

Your question doesn't even meet the first requirement.
