the company a while and hardly charged him what I was worth as his assistant and asked only one thing of him to always be honest with me I reciently asked him if he was selling and he said no hence he lied. So either way I will obviously look for another job my question is should I confront him on it or just leave since he was going to without telling me

Why would you leave? If anything, wait it out until they abolish your position. That way they have to give you a decent severence package, and you'll be eligible for unemployment until you find another job. Can you say FREE MONEY?

Just because they are selling the buisness don't mean you wont have a job. Make sure you ask him ahead of time just incase maybe you do need to find a new job. I have had 2 jobs were the owners sold there company and the new people turned out to be a lot cooler. Anyways good luck with that!

confront him first if you don't later on down the road you will be depressed and wish you would have said something and you can't go back in time.
