What scientific evidence has proven the Bible?

In fact, I can point out a few scientific errors in the Bible from memory:

Genesis says rabbits chew cud.
It also says that locusts only have 4 legs.
Furthermore, it mentions that stars are tiny lights stuck in the sky, which is a solid dome.
Oh, and it states that the earth has corners.

The Christian bible is meant to teach moral lessons, not be a science/history textbook. The message is what's important, not the details.

@Emi: the (scientifically supported) theory of evolution does not say people evolved from monkeys. It states that we share a common ancestor, some several million years ago - just like hyenas and cats share a common ancestor (the smilodon). Research is good.

@cbmultiplechoice: There has never been a machine that could 'go back in time.' I would like to see sources (via email or PM) regarding the sediment layer. Evolution does not include a "2 humans began the species" model, so please avoid that fallacy in future posts; the figure regarding the 8 people on the ark is incorrect, as well (notwithstanding inbreeding issues and the impossibility of fitting every species on Earth on a ship any smaller than Australia). The moon-dust issue has been refuted (lack of air to push more dust away). Carbon dating is not used for older fossils; we have a dozen more reliable dating methods, such as radiometric dating. "Dr. Dino" Kent Hovind was proven to be a fraud and is serving a sentence for just that, I believe. Lastly, "evolutionism" is a word made up by rabid creationists. Evolution falls under biological science. Just ask a college professor.

[Edit] For the record, all the "look around you" and "faith needs no proof" statements can be equally applied to any religion. If one believes in Apollo, then the rising sun is 'proof' of his existence. The wonders of the world are not proof of any one deity - some people just see them as further reassurance that the deity is there, which is fine. Just don't try to disprove scientific fact with religion.

1)There was a computer program that could go back in time and it all of a sudden stopped. Someone remembered a Bible story that they had learned in Sunday School and how the sun had stood still so they input that information and the program continued. This happened twice which is the exact number of times that the Bible mentions the sun stood still.
2) A Geologist studing in Austin found a specific sediment layer and has since found this exact same layer on every continent (eveidence of a world wide flood...just like the Bible tells us about.)
3) The fact that the human eye really does work is eveidence of an intelligent designer (aka GOD)
4) Mathematical formula that calculates population has proven that when 8 people (the 8 that the Bible tells us got off the ark) and about 6000 years is input into the mathematical formula (NOT a Christian formula) that the number of people alive today is within a couple thousand or so. HOWEVER when the same formula is used with 2 for the first 2 people that 'evloved' and the millions of years that the evolutionsist say that they were first here, the final number to represent todays population is to the 20something power!!! WAY
OFF!!!!
5) You know those long skinny legs on the Apollo spacecraft? Well, NASA's scientists calculated that based on the millions of years old that the earth is believed by some (evolutionists) to be,that there should be about 3 feet of space dust on the surface of the moon because they knew about how much dust should accumulate per year. OPPS!!! whatch the tapes of the landing...just a little poof of dust...the earth is NO WHERE NEAR AS olsd as they believed it to be.
6) Read the book of Leviticus with today's knowledge of germs in your mind and see exactly how God was protecting His people from a whole host of diseases.
7) Oh and lets not forget about the whole carbon dating thing!! How old is this fossil...millions of years and we know this because we dated the rock that the fossil is in...how old in the rock?...millions of year and we know this because we dated the fossil...circular reasoning isn't scientific!!

I could go on and on but time just doesn't allow...Dr. Dino, Dr. Carl Baugh...Creation evidence museum...there is so much out there if you REALLY want to know...But of course you shouldn't go to an obgyn if you have a problem with your hot water heater and if you really want to know about the scientific evidence of the Bible please don't ask an evolutionist =)

If you need scientific evidence, you're missing the point entirely. God can never be proven by science. The big bang can never be proven by science. They are both theories. You can keep going ad infinitum with these questions. If God created the earth, who created God? If the big bang created earth, what created that?

Religion is based on faith. The Bible is a serious of stories written by men through the power of the Holy Spirit. Keep questioning, you'll find Him. He comes to you through your heart. You'll hear many contradicting answers but you have to do the searching on this one.

Science has confirmed quite a few things in the bible. For instance, if you rip a child from it's mother's belly or dash a baby against the rocks, that child will indeed die. Also, if you nail a badly beaten person to a wooden cross, they will indeed die. Science has yet to prove that dead people can arise after more than a few hours though.

There has been many, archeological digs have unearthed truth of the places, not all but most.
Astronomy, the use of stars, proven dates.
Peoples tombs have been found, and some with proof still lying in them.
Other literary stories of the time reflect the actual existence of these people, the miracles of Jesus.

The most amazing thing is that even Satan, believes in the Bible, but many have trouble with it.
