Well if you put your face cream on it, it's not going to do anything. You need to use a certain medication thats made for body acne because the pores are different from ur face. They make a product called panoxyl and dermatologist recommend using it. It's a soap so when ur in the shower just rub it on the area and let it sit a few mintues and wash off. It works great for me. hope this helped

It sounds like you have cystic type acne. This type of acne is deeper under the skin and can be sensitive to the touch. Several companies make acne controlling body wash that works fairly well when applied with a loofah, or something else to exfoliate.

If you're more serious about fixing the problem, you should see a dermatologist who could suggest some prescription remedies.

Nooo! Don't put your face cream on it- it's probably making the acne worse. Try to see a dermatologist. I used to get acne on my back a lot when I was in my late teens. The dermatologist put me on antibiotics, and gave me Retin-A to use for my back. If your acne hurts, it's usually because the acne is deep within the surface and if you mess with those deep ones they will only get worse if you touch them or worse, squeeze them. See a dermatologist ASAP. But if you can't afford that, get some good ol' Clearisil acne cleanser and wash your back with that in the shower, and then after you dry yourself off, put on some regular Clearisil acne cream on the problem areas. Good luck, I feel for you!

Go to a dermatologist and make sure it isn't shingles.

Zinc oxide is a drying agent and can clear it up safely in just a few days if it is a form of acne.

If you get a prescription for Accutane, make sure whatever you do that you use birth control if you're sexually active...Accutane causes frightful birth defects.

this is a real prob, what I do to solve it is when I have a shower, I take the bath brush and apply Tea Tree Oil to it and then scrub it up and down and rinse off.
This keeps the pimples at bay and heals the ones that are already there. Body Shop do a good one.(Tea Tree Oil)

if all else fails, cut a little peice of potatoe and use a bandaid to secure it ontop of the pimple and leave it on there for an hour or so. That will help bring it to a head, just remember to keep it really clean after you pop it!

Neutogena makes a great body wash called Body Clear Body Wash. It works great! Just use it instead of soap on your chest, shoulders, and back. Good luck!
