The best way to do it is when he is sleeping, it will deff wake him up but it wont be as bad. Use cotton balls to do the cleaning it will not hurt him, and giving him the medicin in his ears, is never easy, I have gone through this either way he will not like it but u have to try to stay calm when doing it because the cat will sense it also see if you can get help from someone to hold the cat in place if he does get up. It is very hard work but if it is not done it just makes it worse. if you dont treat it he will walk around constantly scratching his ears that will eventuallly get infected

I just squirted some in each ear then rubbed them (the ears) a bit. mine didn't mind getting handled, though. it's better to frighten him than let the mites bother him.

It can be a lot easier to do without traumatizing him if you first wrap him in a towel, then hold him and talk gently with him before putting the medication in his ears.

Hard to do. I ask Revolution from the vet, it works like Advantage, you put it on the back of their neck and it gets rid of worms, flees and earmites. Works wonders!!

Put it in the back of their ears so they cant reach it when they take a bath.

In the course of petting it, have a qtip in your hand that is loaded with the medicine and have a swab party.
