Genesis 4:16
And Cain went out from te presence of the Lord, and dwelt in the land of Nod, in the East of Eden 17 And Cain knew his wife; (some how these two got married but the marrige is not listed in the Bible) and she conceived and bare Enoch: and he built a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.
The above verse tells us that there is a wife for Cain. Mysteriously, for some reason the name of his wife, is hidden. There are two assumptions which can be brought to the tabel. Since there were no other humans beside Adam, and Eve, Cain married his mother.
Or Cain found a women in a different location, that had no relation to him whatsoever.
And God just didn't mentions his other human creations.
Which one is it?

Genesis 5:4 "And the days of Adam after his fathering Seth came to be eight hundred years. Meanwhile he became father to sons and daughters."
Adam and Eve had daughters. Cain most likely married one of his sisters or one of his nieces.

Adam and Eve were the first people that God made a covenant with. However, this in no way means they were the only humans on the planet. We do not know the name od Cain's wife, but we do know she was from the land of Nod, and that she was Enoch's mother. Clearly, there were other people on the earth. And it's not mysterious that Cain's wife is not mentioned by name. Her name is not important. That Cain bore a child through her is.

Not hardly. Remember that Adam & Eve lived for nearly a thousand years. So did Cain. In that time he would have had hundreds of siblings, who also would have hundreds of siblings.... Yes, they would have started out marrying their siblings, then their cousins, then their second cousins and maybe even aunts & uncles, etc., all before Adam and Eve had passed away. Don't think of them as aging the same as we do now.
Also, remember that all the begats in the Bible were men, usually first born. The women weren't accounted for only because they, for the most part, weren't used to trace the lineage of Christ. That was important be able to trace Jesus back to Adam, not to his daughter, so as to recognize Christ when He came.
On the same note:
Scientists have traced all of mankind to a single part of dna found in every woman, even going so far as to call the originator the biological Eve. Well the Bible's Eve is no less biological so....
Technically, you may only be able to trace that back to the family of Noah. But for those who don't want to believe in the global flood, or that all of mankind was destroyed in what ever flood you adhere to, it is a lose/lose situation either way.

God didn't think it was essential for us to know who Cain's wife was or where she came from so He didn't include it. Since God condemns incest - marrying his Mother is out as a consideration.
It's kind of like smoking in the Bible. It isn't specifically mentioned but the Bible has plenty to say about taking good care of your body, and anyone with a minimum education knows that smoking is very harmful to your body.

There is no time table given. God told Adam and Eve to be fruitful and multiply and since they lived more than 900 years Cain more than likely married a sister or cousin.
Edit: niece, not cousin.

Try option three!!!! You failed to mention that Adam and Eve had other children after Cain, Able and Seth. The Bible is clear that they had other children. Quit taking things out of context.

sister. it says Cain's wife. Cain said someone would kill him, then he went off to other lands, so Cain had more younger siblings. Adam was still alive, as he and Eve had Seth and about 60 more children in their 900 years. why do we live to only to about 80 if you're lucky? maybe micro-evolution. who knows.

He married Abels twin sister.
They each had twin sisters and married the others twin.
There is no mystery. Adam and Eve had more children than just Cain and Abel.

Chances are he married his sister. Adam lived to be 930 years old and certainly had more children that Cain, Abel and Seth.
