My family and I are leaving for Puerto Vallarta, Mexico at the end of June. We aren't sure of when to buy our plane tickets.. ASAP or around 3 weeks in advanced??

The best time is when the price is within the budget and the trip doesn't have a lot of stops. You should be checking airfare prices now for travel in June. I booked my Cancun flight in January for May travel and glad I did. It's 400 dollars more for my husband and I right now. If a flight starts getting booked up, the price will go up.
Start checking the flights ASAP.

Buy them now, the way fuel is going there may be a rate hike later on this summer. You can lock in your airfare and know what it will cost. have fun and good luck

the earlier you start looking an find an airfare and book it the better price you will get (more seats avail). the later you get towards the departure date the more limited the flights are and the price will likely increase.
