Why do so many people use torrent? Is it better/faster/safer than normal download software as old kazaa edonkey etc.? Or do you just get more files? I started today with using it and I think I partly figured out how they work. I tryed bitcoment and uttorrent so far but I dont see much differences to a software like kazaa or edonkey, which I used several years ago. I hope anyone can tell me why it is so famous and so much used?
Thanks a lot

kazaa , limewire or other p2p software only support their own server and clients.
but Torrent is a small file name that can copy in many website and can be found more than other p2p
Torrent use it's own technology to transfer files and is faster and better and you can find anything with it.
Best Torrent client is Azureus ( http://sourceforge.net/projects/azureus ) and you can find torrent files in mininova.org or thepiratebay.org

I was having a very big problem with music download companies such as Ares, limewire and etc. ( Because they are free and free means lots of viruses and spyware ) Since I have signed with MyKazaaGold.com I am happy with this and I find all my songs to download and this company also provides Technical Support for the “MyKazaaGold” software and which is a virus and adware free. No other companies help you with their software. I think you should go and signup today and start downloading music right away. Click the link below to visit the website http://www.mykazaagold.com

It's really the same thing, it's a peer-2-peer file transferring technology just like edonkey, kazaa, etc. Try using Burst! bittorrent client, it's fast and works well.
